Warrenton, Georgia - The funeral for Robert Simons <strong>Gunn</strong>, 53, of Route 1, Warrenton, GA,<br />

who died Tuesday, September 30, 1986 will be at 11 am today at M. W. Callaway and Sons<br />

Funeral Home with the Rev. John Giglio officiating. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was a native of Warren<br />

County. He was a retired US Navy veteran after 20years of service. He was amember of<br />

First United Methodist Church of Warrenton. Survivors include two daughters, Leslie Lee<br />

Beatty and Stacie Ann Sullivan both of Simi, Califo; two sons, Robert Alan <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

Woodland Hills, Calif and Michael Joseph <strong>Gunn</strong>, Simi Valley Calif; his mother Ruth S.<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>; and a brothers, Jack W. <strong>Gunn</strong> both of Warrenton. Burial will be in Johnson Church<br />

Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence of Ruth <strong>Gunn</strong> Gibson Highway. (Thomas and<br />

Robert Stewart <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

Funeral services for Robert Stewart <strong>Gunn</strong>, 46, of Route 4, Reidsville, who died in Memoiral<br />

Hospital Saturday morning, was held Sunday afternoon at 4 o"clock at Wentworth<br />

Methodist Church conducted by the pastor, the Rev. C. G. Isley. Interment was in the church<br />

cemetery. Pallbearers were the following nephews, Walter, Lawrence, Ellis, William,<br />

Eldridge, Morris, B. W., Aaron, and Ray <strong>Gunn</strong>. Honarary pallbearers were Jule McMichael,<br />

Elmore McMichael, Allan Lewis, Elmer Boyd, Kelly Gibbs, Van Sharp, Frederick Gamman,<br />

Russell Patterson, James Rakestraw, H. B. Wimbish, and members of the Veteran"s [sic]<br />

Class of Wentworth High School, which he taught. Flowerbearers were friends and<br />

neighbors of the deceased. <strong>Gunn</strong> was a well-known farmer in the Wentworth community<br />

where he had resided all of his life. He was the son of the late Walter Monroe and Irene<br />

Jennings <strong>Gunn</strong>. He had taught the Veterans" Class at Wentworth High School for five years.<br />

He had been in decling health for two years and was a patient in the hospital for the past<br />

week. Surviving are three sons, Robert Calvin <strong>Gunn</strong>, Route 4, Reidsville, James Monroe<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>, Staunton, Virginia, and Pvt. David S. <strong>Gunn</strong>, Fort Jackson, S.C.; three brothers, Alvin<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>, Route 4, Reidsville, Percy <strong>Gunn</strong>, Greensboro, and Clarence <strong>Gunn</strong> of Kendridge,<br />

Virginia; two sisters, Mrs. Zela Strader of Route 3, Reidsville, and Mrs. E. R. Lemons, Route<br />

2, Reidsville (Thomas and Sarah Boatwright <strong>Gunn</strong> desc)<br />

Robert T. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Word has been -received here (Middlesboro, Kentucky) of the; death yesterday Feb 19, 1943<br />

in Lexington, Kentucky of Robert T. <strong>Gunn</strong> 75, brother of the late W. E . <strong>Gunn</strong> of<br />

Middlesboro, and of Miss Fannie Adams <strong>Gunn</strong> of Lexington who passed away last week. Mr.<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> was a graduate of the University of Kentucky; was at one time manager of the street<br />

car system in Lexington, and later of the .system in Norfolk, Va. He was engaged in the coal<br />

business in Jackson, Ky., for a number of years. Survivors include his wife, two sisters, Mrs.<br />

W. A. Hifner and Mrs. W. N. Lane, and one brother John W. Gunm, all of Lexington,<br />

48, Clearwater, Florida, died July 27, 2008. He was born February 20, 1960 in Belleville,<br />

Illinois. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Services
