Dora Lee <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

of The Virginia Home died Wednesday September 24, 1980. She is survived by a daughter,<br />

Mrs. Gladys R. Cook of Milwaukee, Wis.; a dear friend, Mrs. Mildred Ellis of Richmond;<br />

and five grandchildren. Her remains rest at the Joseph W. Bliley Funeral Home, 3rd and<br />

Marshall Sts. where services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. Interment Riverview. Mrs.<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> was a member of The Clara Williams Sunday School Class at Tabernacle Baptist<br />

Dora <strong>Gunn</strong> - Dora K. Tomlinson<br />

Dora K. Tomlinson, 60, of Mack, Colo., died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000 at her home. Dora was<br />

a ranch wife. She was born April 6, 1939 to Eddie and Dora Melvina <strong>Gunn</strong> Hughes in<br />

Fruita, where she spent her childhood and attended schools. She was a graduate of Fruita<br />

High School. On Dec. 11, 1957 she married Jim Tomlinson at Grand Junction, Colo. He<br />

survives. Dora was a member of the Mesa County and Colorado Cattlewomen. She drove a<br />

school bus for Mesa County School District #51 for 17 years and worked both at the Fruita<br />

Consumers Coop and Valley Livestock. Dora loved her family and many friends. She<br />

enjoyed the outdoors, especially her yard and garden. Besides her husband, Jim, of Mack,<br />

she is survived by one son, Jim (Nancy) Tomlinson Jr., of Whitman, Neb.; a daughter,<br />

Mikki (Scott) Robertson, Rangely, Colo.; a brother, Harold "Pete" Hughes, Snowflake,<br />

Ariz.; a sister, Rosella "Punkie" (Dic) Arnold, Sandy; and five grandchildren, Allana<br />

Tomlinson, Bailie Tomlinson, Madison Tomlinson, Mandi Robertson and Tyler<br />

Robertson.She was preceded in death by two daughters, Kathy Louise and Debi Kathleen.<br />

A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2000 in the Church of Jesus Christ<br />

of Latter-day Saints with Bishop James Adkins conducting. Burial will be in the <strong>New</strong><br />

Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita, Colo. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at<br />

the McLean Funeral Home Chapel in Fruita<br />

Dora Lee <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

SUFFOLK, VA -- Dora Lee <strong>Gunn</strong> Berryhill, 75, of Old Wharf Road, died Nov. 13, 2001, in<br />

an Edenton, N.C., hospital. A native of Pulaski County, Va., she was the widow of William<br />

S. Berryhill. Mrs. Berryhill retired from the Naval Hospital after 32 years of service and<br />

was a member of Beech Grove United Methodist Church and Driver Book Club. Survivors<br />

include a daughter, Janet Davis and husband Alden of Merry Hill, N.C.; a sister and two<br />

brothers, William T. <strong>Gunn</strong> of Nashville, Tenn., Joyce G. Berry of Chesapeake, and Jimmy<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> of <strong>New</strong>port <strong>New</strong>s; and three grandchildren, Mallory, Rob and Jeffery. A funeral<br />

willbe conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel,<br />

by the Rev. Garland Hines. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family<br />

will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations<br />

may be made to the Suffolk Public Library, Bennetts Creek Branch.
