was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, John, and a<br />

daughter, Sondra, both of Ann Arbor, Mich.; two brothers, Walter Meyer, <strong>New</strong> Port Richey,<br />

and Robert, Holiday; six sisters, Jessie Meyer, <strong>New</strong> Port Richey, Sarah Craig, Port Richey,<br />

Annie Meldrum, Hollywood, Fla. Pat <strong>Gunn</strong>, Holi day, Helen Luttenberger, Michigan, and<br />

Cathy Marsden, Arizona; and two granddaughters. Arlington Funeral Home, Port Richey.<br />

Pauline <strong>Gunn</strong> Shore Yarber<br />

HIGH POINT, NC - Pauline <strong>Gunn</strong> Shore Yarber, of High Point, passed away Sunday,<br />

March 25, 2007, at Beacon Place in Greensboro, after a courageous battle with cancer. The<br />

family will hold a celebration of life at 6:30 p.m. with fellowship following on Wednesday,<br />

March 28 at Christ's Way Church, 4401 Sumner Church Rd. in Greensboro, where she was<br />

a member. Mrs. Yarber was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Elwood Shore; son,<br />

Richard Shore; grandson, Thomas Bradley Seabolt; and brothers, Pete and Raymond <strong>Gunn</strong>.<br />

She is survived by sisters, La Verne Griffin and Elaine Harrington; daughters, Cathy (Mike)<br />

Wright, Nancy (David) Graham, Mary Kinley, and Debby (Thom) Gill; grandchildren,<br />

Tommy and Ricky Seabolt, Ben and Sara Wright, Josh and Caleb Kinley, and Jason (Katy)<br />

Gill; great grandchildren, Wes, Owen, and Evelyn Gill; and numerous nieces and nephews.<br />

Mrs. Yarber retired from Hilltop Grocery where she made many special and lifelong friends.<br />

A special thanks to Dr. Granfortuna, the Wesley Long Cancer Center, and especially the<br />

very caring staff at Beacon Place. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ's Way<br />

Church or to Beacon Place, 2502 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.<br />

Pauline <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Pauline C. (Dawson) Jackson, 79, of Belmont passed away on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, at a<br />

local hospital. She was born on June 16, 1924, in Waltham, Mass., the daughter of John and<br />

Mary (Orr) <strong>Gunn</strong>. Born in Waltham, Mass., she resided in Allston, Mass., until moving to<br />

Belmont with her family in 1962. She worked for the Raytheon Defense Factory in<br />

Massachusetts for several years until she married and stayed home to raise her children. Her<br />

greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Pauline<br />

was predeceased by her first husband, William Dawson Sr.; two children, Mary Dawson and<br />

Gary Dawson; sister, Alice; twin brother, Paul; and brothers, George and John. She is<br />

survived by her husband, Harold A. Jackson of Belmont; eight children, William Dawson Jr.<br />

and his wife, Lauri, of Belfast, Richard Dawson and his wife, Valerie, of Cumberland,<br />

Deborah Jackson and her husband, Hartley, of Belmont, Lauretta Sawyer and her husband,<br />

Terry, of Swanville, Edward Dawson and his wife, Lisa, of Rumford, Patricia Dawson of<br />

Knox, Suzanne Andreas and her husband, Robert, of Mohawk, N.Y., and Joan Jackson and<br />

her husband, Dana, of Belfast; 3 sisters: Mae Seals of Roslindale, Mass., Margaret Smith of<br />

Stoughton, Mass., and Anna Champlain of Warren, Ohio; 22 grandchildren, Elizabeth and<br />

Robert Dawson, Erika and Ryan Dawson, Nicholas and Jennifer Jackson, Nathaniel and<br />

Jessica Sawyer, Heidi, Kyle and Gabrielle Dawson, Jeremy and Sylvia Richards, Andrew,<br />

Mary Beth, and Daniel (Dawson) <strong>My</strong>ers, Carolyn, Kathryn, Megan, Robert, and Mary<br />

Andreas, and Dana Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Destiny Richards and Harmony<br />

Dawson. Friends are invited to attend a visitation 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Crabiel-Riposta<br />

Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at
