died in Ft. Worth at Community Hospice of Texas. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> was born in Philipsburg,<br />

<strong>New</strong> Jersey and moved to Dallas soon after. She is preceded in death by her parents<br />

William C. Cook, Pauline Harper Eckel and brother Sam Cook. She graduated from<br />

Hillcrest High in 1967 and earned a BA and a MA from Stephen F. Austin and taught art<br />

at Azle Junior High for 33 years. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the<br />

American Revolution. Maryann married William Wallace <strong>Gunn</strong> III on June 29. 1974 and<br />

raised two children, William Noble <strong>Gunn</strong> and Mary Grace <strong>Gunn</strong>. She was a true and<br />

fearless Catholic with an unconditional love and understanding for all. She loved baseball,<br />

the beach, the Bearcat Regiment, the Girl Scouts, and Leela, our mutt. She is survived by<br />

brothers Carter, Dank, Hank, Jim, and John along with devoted father and mother-in-law,<br />

J.V. Burnett and Jane Read Burnett. We would like to thank from our hearts Dr. Angel<br />

Negron and staff along with the "Chemo Techs" at Texas "Oncology on 12th street for<br />

their compassion and professionalism. Maryann Cook <strong>Gunn</strong> died in Ft. Worth at<br />

Mary Ann <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

age 80 - 05/29/1929 - 04/08/2010 - A scriptural rosary will be said for Portland resident<br />

Mary Ann <strong>Gunn</strong> at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010, in Gresham Memorial Chapel.<br />

Those who wish may view beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by the funeral Mass at 10 a.m.<br />

Thursday, April 15, 2010, in the chapel at Laurelhurst Village, 3060 S.E. Stark St.,<br />

Portland. A committal service will be held in Willamette National Cemetery. Mary Ann is<br />

survived by a son; four daughters; 24 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three<br />

great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard <strong>Gunn</strong>; and<br />

beloved son, Gerald Dohaney. Mary Ann passed away in the presence of her loving<br />

daughters and grandchildren and will be truly missed by everyone who loved her. The<br />

family wishes to thank Elder Place and Laurelhurst Village for their compassionate and<br />

loving care.<br />

Mrs. John Bunch passed away suddenly Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at her late home<br />

six miles northwest of Murrayville. After an illness of three weeks. Mrs. Bunch had not<br />

been a well woman for some time. Several months ago she underwent an operation, having
