Gary Douglas Gunn
1946-2001 ALLYN, Wash. - Gary Douglas Gunn, 54, died June 28 at his residence in Allyn.
He was born June 29, 1946, in Great Bend, the son of Glenn Albert and Louise Brown
Gunn. He was a 1964 graduate of Great Bend High School. A resident of Allyn, coming
from Lakebay, Wash., he was an insurance and investment salesman. Gunn was a member
of the Unity church, Independent Order of Foresters in Utah and Washington, volunteered
in the Special Olympics in Utah and a women"s crisis shelter in Washington. He was a
veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his mother of Great Bend; and two sisters,
Margaret S. Baldwin of Ellinwood and Barbara L. Anderson of Bartlesville, Okla. A
memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Special
Olympics or a local crisis center, both in care of Bryant-Christians Funeral Home in Great

GUNN, Gary Glenn of Mesquite, TX born June 2, 1962 in Dallas, TX. and passed away
March 13, 2005. He was a member of Dallas Masonic Lodge #760 A.F. & A. M. He was
raised in the Baptist Church. Preceded in death by twin daughters. Survived by daughters,
Lee Amber Gunn of Grand Prairie, Nicole Marie Gunn of Grand Prairie, Hailey Helen
Gunn of Mesquite; parents, William "Dub" & Helen Gunn of Goldthwaite, TX.; brothers
and sisters-in-law, William "Bill" & Susan Gunn of Lucas, TX., Charles "Chuck"
Anderson of Goldthwatie; sister and brother-in-law, Becky L. & Bob Gates of Bruceville,
TX.; 6 nephews; 1 aunt & uncle and several cousins and a host of friends. A memorial
service will be held at 3:00PM Friday, March 18, 2005 at the New Hope Funeral Home

Marion, SC - Mr. Gary Robert Gunn, 46, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at McLeod
Regional Hospital after an illness. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday,
September 12, at Catholic Church of Infant Jesus, burial will follow at Palmetto Memorial
Gardens. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, September 11, from 6:00-8:00 pm at
Richardson funeral home. Gary was born in Wishaw, Scotland, a son of Catherine L. Gunn
and the late Thomas Gunn. He was a graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College
and worked as a tool designer. Mr. Gunn was a member of Catholic Church of the Infant
Jesus. Mr. Gunn is survived by his mother, Catherine L. Gunn; a son, Gary R. Gunn of
Nichols, SC; brother, Thomas Gunn, Jr. of Mullins; sister, Betty Floyd of Marion; six
