daughters, Chloe and Savanna <strong>Gunn</strong>; parents, John and Patricia; sister, Alicia (Darin)<br />

Coker; and two brothers, Jake (Melissa) <strong>Gunn</strong> and Joshua <strong>Gunn</strong>. She had four nieces and<br />

one nephew whom she loved very much, many uncles, aunts and cousins. A public viewing<br />

will take place from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., Friday, May 21, 2010 and a memorial service will be<br />

held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 22, 2010 both at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen Funeral Home,<br />

1350 Commercial Street SE, Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations will be appreciated for the<br />

benefit of Bobbie Hope <strong>Gunn</strong> and her children. An account has been set up at West Coast Bank.<br />

Bobbie <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

79, a retired electrical planner, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, in Fort Worth, Texas. Bobbie<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> was born May 23, 1920, in Ranger. She retired from General Dynamics after 38<br />

years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald P. <strong>Gunn</strong>; mother,<br />

Beatrice Allen; brother, James Tolliver Jr.; and stepfather, Bob Allen. Survivors at the<br />

time of her death: brother, Jack Allen and his wife, Linda, of Lake Leon. Interment was in<br />

Greenwood Memorial Park.<br />

Bobby Jack <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

75, of Clinton,Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Ozark Health Nursing<br />

Center. Born November 1, 1932 in Earle Arkansas to the late Henry and Maggie <strong>Gunn</strong>; he<br />

was also preceded indeath by his sisters, Lucille Donnahoe and Susie Organ; a brother,<br />

Luther <strong>Gunn</strong>; 2 grandsons and one great-grandson. He retired from the Arkansas State<br />

Police after 27 years of service. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean war;<br />

and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He leaves his wife of fifty-five years,<br />

Rosemary Birdsong <strong>Gunn</strong>; his daughter, Jolita (Joel); sons, Clint and Barry; five<br />

grandchildren, Candie <strong>New</strong>ell, Katie Kuykendall, Spencer <strong>Gunn</strong>, Greyson and McKenna<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>; two great-grandchildren, Arick and Laney <strong>New</strong>ell; and a number of nephews,<br />

nieces and many friends.Graveside service will be Tuesday, October 21, 10:00 a.m., at<br />

Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery in Greerss Ferry. Vsitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 PM at<br />

Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton.<br />

Bobby Joe <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Bobby Joe "Bob" <strong>Gunn</strong>, 61, of Lawrenceville, died suddenly Wednesday morning (May 18,<br />

2011) in Lawrenceville, Ga. He was a native of Lancaster, S. C. He lived in Lawrenceville<br />

for many years. He was son of the late Rayford <strong>Gunn</strong> and Estelle Meeks <strong>Gunn</strong>. He was also<br />

preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gayle Lemacks <strong>Gunn</strong>, and a brother, Steve <strong>Gunn</strong>.<br />

He worked with Audio-Tech, Inc. for more than 31 years starting with the company in<br />

1979. He was a tremendous asset to Audio-Tech with his working knowledge of Pro Sound<br />

Systems and Master Television Systems. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War while<br />

serving in the U. S. Army. He was a helicopter pilot and received many medals, and for his<br />

dedication and courage, the Purple Heart. Survivors include two brothers, Larry <strong>Gunn</strong>, of<br />

Nicholls, and Ernie <strong>Gunn</strong>, of Conyers, and three sisters, Bonnie <strong>Gunn</strong>, of Tampa, Fla.,<br />

Carlene Dukes, of Waycross, and Fay Shepherd, of Rutledge. Agraveside service will be
