daughters, Chloe and Savanna Gunn; parents, John and Patricia; sister, Alicia (Darin)
Coker; and two brothers, Jake (Melissa) Gunn and Joshua Gunn. She had four nieces and
one nephew whom she loved very much, many uncles, aunts and cousins. A public viewing
will take place from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., Friday, May 21, 2010 and a memorial service will be
held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 22, 2010 both at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen Funeral Home,
1350 Commercial Street SE, Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations will be appreciated for the
benefit of Bobbie Hope Gunn and her children. An account has been set up at West Coast Bank.
Bobbie Gunn
79, a retired electrical planner, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, in Fort Worth, Texas. Bobbie
Gunn was born May 23, 1920, in Ranger. She retired from General Dynamics after 38
years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald P. Gunn; mother,
Beatrice Allen; brother, James Tolliver Jr.; and stepfather, Bob Allen. Survivors at the
time of her death: brother, Jack Allen and his wife, Linda, of Lake Leon. Interment was in
Greenwood Memorial Park.
Bobby Jack Gunn,
75, of Clinton,Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Ozark Health Nursing
Center. Born November 1, 1932 in Earle Arkansas to the late Henry and Maggie Gunn; he
was also preceded indeath by his sisters, Lucille Donnahoe and Susie Organ; a brother,
Luther Gunn; 2 grandsons and one great-grandson. He retired from the Arkansas State
Police after 27 years of service. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean war;
and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He leaves his wife of fifty-five years,
Rosemary Birdsong Gunn; his daughter, Jolita (Joel); sons, Clint and Barry; five
grandchildren, Candie Newell, Katie Kuykendall, Spencer Gunn, Greyson and McKenna
Gunn; two great-grandchildren, Arick and Laney Newell; and a number of nephews,
nieces and many friends.Graveside service will be Tuesday, October 21, 10:00 a.m., at
Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery in Greerss Ferry. Vsitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 PM at
Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton.
Bobby Joe Gunn
Bobby Joe "Bob" Gunn, 61, of Lawrenceville, died suddenly Wednesday morning (May 18,
2011) in Lawrenceville, Ga. He was a native of Lancaster, S. C. He lived in Lawrenceville
for many years. He was son of the late Rayford Gunn and Estelle Meeks Gunn. He was also
preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gayle Lemacks Gunn, and a brother, Steve Gunn.
He worked with Audio-Tech, Inc. for more than 31 years starting with the company in
1979. He was a tremendous asset to Audio-Tech with his working knowledge of Pro Sound
Systems and Master Television Systems. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War while
serving in the U. S. Army. He was a helicopter pilot and received many medals, and for his
dedication and courage, the Purple Heart. Survivors include two brothers, Larry Gunn, of
Nicholls, and Ernie Gunn, of Conyers, and three sisters, Bonnie Gunn, of Tampa, Fla.,
