Lawrence; a half brother, Charles Ketchum, Tonganoxie; a half sister, Neva (Ketchum)<br />

Forster, Callahan, Fla.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family will<br />

receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.The family suggests<br />

Caroline M. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

November 11, 1855 - Nashville, Tennessee - died yesterday, Mrs. Caroline M. <strong>Gunn</strong> of this<br />

city, wife of Dr. L. T. <strong>Gunn</strong>. The friends and acquaintances of Dr. <strong>Gunn</strong> are respectfully<br />

invited to attend the funeral, from his residence on the corner of Pearl and Washington<br />

Streets, south Nashville at 3 o’clock this afternoon.<br />

Caroline <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

one of the countys most aged and respected ladies, died early Sat. evening at the home of<br />

her son, Merchant Al <strong>Gunn</strong>. A severe cold contracted recently was the direct cause of her<br />

death but she had been suffering for a long time with rheumatism and during the past five<br />

years had been unable to leave her bed. She was in her eighty first year. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong>, nee<br />

Caroline Alley, was the widow of Samuel <strong>Gunn</strong> who died at Mt. Zion about 5 years ago.<br />

She was born in Marshall county in 1836 and came with her husband to this county 32<br />

years ago. Settling at Mt. Zion where she had since lived until her son moved to this place a<br />

few months ago. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> is survived by the following children: Mrs. Mary J. Steel, of<br />

Missouri; Sell <strong>Gunn</strong>, of Mt. Zion; Mrs. Hannah E. Croupe, of Marshall County; Mrs. Ida<br />

B. Poling, of Adam; Mrs. Laura I. Dickinson of Richwood; and A. <strong>Gunn</strong> of this place. Four<br />

other children have gone before their mother. They were Mrs. Anna L Archer, who died<br />

about 15 years ago; John W., who died at age of five; Jesse C. <strong>Gunn</strong>, who died in 1900 and<br />

Mrs. Sarah E. Carpenter, who died some twenty years ago. Funeral services were held and<br />

interment made at Mt. Zion Sunday afternoon, with Rev. B. F. King of the local Methodist<br />

Caroline Sue <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

was born on October 3, 1930 and passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. She was a<br />

resident of Mobile, Alabama. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 10 -11:30<br />

am at the Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2 McGregor Avenue S, Mobile Alabama, followed by<br />

a Memorial Service at 11:30.<br />

Caroline Sue Cooper <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

age 81, born in Hattiesburg, MS, raised in Jackson, MS, and a longtime resident of Mobile,<br />

passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012. She was a 1948 graduate of Central High School in
