William. C. Gunn,
aged 76 years, died this morning Marsh 12, 1921, at the home of his son Harvey Gunn, at 614
Washington Avenue, after suffering for two weeks with paralysis. He had been In poor health
for the past seven years but was not confined to his bed until two weeks ago. He has been a
resident of Alton, Illinois for the past twenty years coming he from Girard, III. He Is survived
by nine children namely, Charles and Jeff Gunn of Manhattan, Orvie Gunn of Kansas City
and Harvey Gunn of Alton. The daughters are Mrs. J. R. Bunch Manhattan, Mrs. Lena
Pettijohn Oxford, Nebr., Mrs. James Roberts and Mrs. Harold Cheesman of Altonand one
brother. f Robert Gunn Granite City. Funeral services will be held at o'clock from the family
home on Washington Avenue Sunday afternoon, Interment in Oakwood Cemetery in Alton.

Was born in St. Louis, Mo on Jun 11, 2931. Mr. Gunn resided in Livonia, Mi, where he
departed this earthly life on April 4, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Marion L.
Gunn, and the loving father of Patricia A. Sigwell, Peggy M. Gunn, Ronald R. Gunn, Pamela
E. Gill (Jeff), Rebecca L Gunn, and Timothy R. Gunn (Justine). Also survived by 5 sisters, 1
borther, 11 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

REIDSVILLE - William Clarence "Willie" Gunn, 81, of 190 Blueberry Road died Saturday,
June 24, 1995, at N.C. Baptist Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
Monday at Wentworth United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Boyd Joyce
officiating. A native of Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Charlie A. and Cora
Williams Gunn and had lived in the Wentworth Community his entire life. He was a member
of Wentworth United Methodist Church, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a retired Lab
Technician at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital and owned and operated Gunn"s Peach
Orchard and Blueberries. Survivors include wife, Myrtle Sidden Gunn of the home; son, John
Frank Gunn of the home; daughters, Virginia G. McElroy of Reidsville and Mary G. Harrell
of Greenville, S.C.; and granddaughter, Laura Whitmire of Simpsonville, S.C. The family will
be at the residence. Citty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be
made to Wentworth United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 63, Wentworth, N.C. 27375.

William D. Gunn
Published March 8, 1967 - Graveside services for William D. Gunn, 58, a Pasadena California
resident from 1917 to 1963 will be held at 2 pm Thursday at Mt. View Mausoleum in Mt.
View, Ca. Mr. Gunn died Monday at his home in Santa Barbara where he had lived since
1963. Mr. Gunn was a graduate of Pasadena High School and Pasadena City College and
USC with an accounting degree. He was employed by the State Department of Employment
and later with the Internal Revenue Service in Los Angeles. He joined the Army in 1943 and
was retired in 1963 as a chief warrant officer. Survivors include his widow the former Inez
Effinger and a daughter Phoebe Gunn both of Santa Barbara. Member of the San Pasqual
Lodege will officiate at the grave side rites following funeral servies Thursday morning in
Santa Barbara.
