Langeloh (Donald) of Columbia City, Ind., and Robert Morsches (Jan) of Columbia City,<br />

Ind.; seven grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a<br />

daughter, Virginia Stevens McDonald, in April 2006; a stepbrother, James Woodward; and<br />

a stepsister Marianne Woodward Palmer.Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bryan, Robert<br />

Harrell, Billy Buck Staggers, Andy Davis, Eugene Bailey and Ralph Nichols. Honorary<br />

pallbearers will be J. Joshua Stevens Jr. and Larry Rice.Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m.<br />

Thursday at the First United Methodist Church.<br />

Martha Jane <strong>Gunn</strong> Wilhoit,<br />

age 78, entered into rest Monday, December 29, 2008 at Trinity Hospital, Augusta, GA. She<br />

was the wife of the late Jud P. Wilhoit Jr. and the daughter of the late Jamie Simeon <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

and the late Blanche Lowe <strong>Gunn</strong> Graveside services will be held at 11am, Wednesday,<br />

December 31, 2008 at Johnson Cemetery, Gibson Highway, Warrenton, Ga. with Jack<br />

McCorkle and Rev. David Jenkins officiating. Mrs. Wilhoit was a native of Warren<br />

County, a graduate of Georgia State College for Women at Milledgeville, Georgia with a<br />

Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She was a school teacher, having taught in the<br />

public schools of Rockdale, Greene, Morgan, Washington, Hancock, Jefferson and Warren<br />

Counties. She retired in 1992 from Briarwood Academy after 18 years of service. Martha<br />

Jane was a member of Johnson United Methodist Church, Adult Sunday school class,<br />

Warren County Chamber of Commerce and the Daughters of the American Revolution.<br />

Survivors include her son, Judson "Trip" Wilhoit III and her daughter-in-law , Janie,<br />

Lizella, Ga. and her daughter, Ocie Blanche "O.B." Wilhoit McCorkle and her son-in-law,<br />

Christopher Scott "Chris", Warrenton, Ga., two grandchildren, Christopher Scott "Tad"<br />

McCorkle II and Martha Diane "Mia" McCorkle , three step- grandchildren, Melanie<br />

Dane "Mindy" Hawkins (Girard) Jones, , Brooke Hawkins (Brad) Williams and Daniel<br />

Tyler Hawkins, one brother, James Lowe <strong>Gunn</strong>, Warrenton, Ga. Pallbearers will be J. J.<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>, John <strong>Gunn</strong>, Jimmy Stewart, <strong>Gunn</strong> Stewart, Billy Wilhoit, Scott Johnson, and Bobby<br />

Thigpen. Memorials may be made to Johnson Cemetery Fund, C/O Joe Shurley, 642<br />

Martha Marchbanks <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

CLEBURNE - Martha Marchbanks <strong>Gunn</strong>, a homemaker, died Sunday at her Cleburne<br />

home. She was 86. Funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral<br />

Home in Cleburne. Burial will be in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> was born in<br />

Glen Rose, Texas. She lived in Cleburne in her youth and was a longtime resident of<br />

Amarillo before moving returning to Cleburne in 1967.She was a Jehovah"s Witness.<br />

Survivors: Son, Dan A. <strong>Gunn</strong> of Keller; daughter, Amma Lynn Jones of Cleburne; two<br />

sisters, Amma Atchley and Edythe Richerson, both of Cleburne; seven grandchildren; and<br />
