Diabetes Association or to Summerlin Evangelical Lutheran Church. Local arrangements<br />

were handled by Hites Funeral Home. Gathering of family and friends will be held<br />

immediately following services at 5875 Palmyra Ave.<br />

Hugh A. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Hugh was born on September 29, 1920 and passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2010. Hugh<br />

lived in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is survived by his wife Jean. Private services have been<br />

arranged by Messinger Indian School Mortuary.<br />

REDFIELD,SD Oct. 30, 1947.—Funeral services for Hugh Donald <strong>Gunn</strong>, who died<br />

Wednesday at his home here following two years illness, will be held Friday afternoon at 2<br />

at the Coleman Funeral Parlors. The Rev. George Remmuth will officiate. Hugh <strong>Gunn</strong> was<br />

born Jan.15, 1869, in Brownsville, Minn., He is survived by his widow.<br />

Hugh <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

89, of Sheridan,WY, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at his home. He was born in<br />

Lusk, WY on December 16, 1922. He served as a pilot in the Army Air Corp during WWII<br />

and was a member of the Air Force Reserves. He married Virginia E. Price on June 16,<br />

1948 in Worland, WY. Hugh worked for the Christianson Diamond Products, an oil field<br />

service company which took them to numerous locations in Wyoming, Montana, Utah and<br />

Alberta, Canada. They retired in 1982 in Salt Lake City, UT. They moved to Sheridan in<br />

1990. Hugh is survived by his wife of 64 years, Virginia; his daughter, Carol Lyle, of Idaho<br />

Falls, ID; his son George (Jennette) <strong>Gunn</strong> of Sheridan, WY; daughter, Patricia (Mike)<br />

Goodin of Canyon City, CO; and seven grandchildren. Services with full Military Honors<br />

will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Kane Funeral Home with<br />

Reverend Kevin Jones officiating. A reception will follow in the Kane Reception Hall<br />

Hugh <strong>Gunn</strong>, Judge<br />

Judge Hugh <strong>Gunn</strong> 76, died 12 o’clock this afternoon (2-8-1936) in a local hospital here in<br />

Key West, where he was taken yesterday afternoon. Judge <strong>Gunn</strong> had been ill for a long<br />

period. Funeral services are to be held Monday afternoon. The time for the ceremony and<br />

other details will be fixed upon the arrival of his niece, Mrs. Nathaniel Taylor, who will be<br />

accompanied by her son, H. H. Taylor, both arriving by plane from Miami Beach Florida.<br />

Judge <strong>Gunn</strong> was born in St. Louis, Missouri November 12, 1860 and came to Key West<br />

with his parents in the early 1860's. The early death of his father denied him the<br />

advantages of such an education as he might have detained. Judge <strong>Gunn</strong> made his<br />

independent start in life in the cigar factory of Martinez Yhor in 1875. He became<br />

connected with political life and was elected for several terms as city clerk. Although not a<br />

lawyer, Judge <strong>Gunn</strong> gave excellent service as county judge, his experience standing him in
