84, of Kosciusko, Mississippi, died June 12, 2-10 at the Attala County Nursing Center.<br />

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 14, at 3 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel<br />

with burial in Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Ron Linkins and Rev. Don Cook will officiate. He<br />

is survived by sons, Ron <strong>Gunn</strong> and wife, Janice of Bolton, and Tom <strong>Gunn</strong> and wife, Nancy<br />

of Knoxville; daughter, Susan Jackson and husband Fred of Tupelo; grandchildren,<br />

Valerie Jackson and Megan Jackson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Rae<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>; parents, Louis and Hattie Jane Hert <strong>Gunn</strong>. Memorials may be sent to the Berean<br />

Call Ministries.<br />

Harold Lee <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

May 21, 1948 --Dec. 11, 1996 Harold Lee <strong>Gunn</strong>, 48, of Billings, Mont., died Wednesday at<br />

Veterans Association Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was a native of Modesto.<br />

He lived in Modesto from 1948 to 1967 and from 1990 to 1992, then moved to Billings,<br />

Mont. He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad and Red River Railroad in North<br />

Dakota. He served in the Air Force from 1967 to 1971. He is survived by his wife, Flynda<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> of Billings, Mont.; children, Ronald <strong>Gunn</strong> of Modesto, Paul <strong>Gunn</strong> of Ceres, Scott<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> of O"Fallon, Ill., and Christopher <strong>Gunn</strong> and Rebecca <strong>Gunn</strong>, both of Devils Lake,<br />

N.D.; his parents, Jim and Mary Lou <strong>Gunn</strong> of Modesto; a brother, Larry <strong>Gunn</strong> of<br />

Modesto; a sister, Peggy <strong>Gunn</strong> of Amsterdam, Netherlands; and one grandson. A funeral<br />

will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at<br />

Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson. Remembrances may be made to the Multiple<br />

Sclerosis Society, 2277 Watt Ave., Suite A, Sacramento 95825.<br />

Harold G. 'Bud' <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

77, of Ludlow Road, Lansing, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 at Strong Memorial<br />

Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born May 30, 1933 in Ledyard, a son of the late<br />

Benjamin and Helen (Allen) <strong>Gunn</strong>, and had attended King Ferry School. Bud retired from<br />

the military in 1973, after proudly serving 22 years of active duty. He first served four<br />

years with the Marine Corps, then re-enlisted with the Air Force, where he was an airplane<br />

mechanic for 18 years. He was discharged with the rank of tech sergeant and his service<br />

time included tours of duty in both Korea and Vietnam. Upon returning to the Lansing<br />

area, Bud since worked at Ide's Bowling Lanes for many years and as a custodian for three<br />

years at Cornell University. Bud was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the<br />

outdoors. His family was his whole life, as he was a loving husband, father and grandpa.<br />

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Leola 'Lee' (Dassance) <strong>Gunn</strong>, whom he married on<br />

Aug. 9, 1961; three daughters, Leslie (Butch) Hammond, of Lansing, Heidi Jo Parry, of<br />

Lansing, and Sam (John) Ducey, of Genoa; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren;<br />

five great-grandchildren; a sister, Joan (Robert) Zhe, of Groton; five brothers, Edwin<br />

(Olea), of McLean, Dale (Grace), of Groton, Randy (Shirley), of Dryden, Gary, of Florida,<br />

and Doug (Thelma), of Virgil; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he<br />

was predeceased by his sisters, Deborah <strong>Gunn</strong>, Marlene Hauck and Vivian Bennett, and by<br />

his brothers, Walter and Norman <strong>Gunn</strong>. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m.<br />

Wednesday at the Shurtleff Funeral Home, 103 Lincoln Ave., Groton. Friends may call at
