Oneta <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

ATLANTA, Texas - Oneta <strong>Gunn</strong>, 91, of Atlanta died Monday, June 11, 2007, in Texarkana,<br />

Texas. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> was born May 9, 1916, in <strong>New</strong> Boston, Texas. She was a former employee<br />

of Price Hardware and a member of First Baptist Church, Atlanta. She was preceded in<br />

death by her husband, Lloyd <strong>Gunn</strong>. Survivors include three sons, Dennis <strong>Gunn</strong> and John<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> of Atlanta and Bruce <strong>Gunn</strong> of Georgetown, Texas; one daughter, Nancy <strong>Gunn</strong> Godley<br />

of Port Neches, Texas; two brothers, David Guyton of Waco, Texas, and Joe Guyton of<br />

Denison, Texas; four sisters, Neoma Guyton of Queen City, Texas, Leola Alvis of Mesquite,<br />

Texas, Barbara Smith of Atlanta, Ga., and Sonny Hickman of Vicksburg, Miss.; eight<br />

grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a number of<br />

other relatives.Services will be 2 p.m. today at Hanner Funeral Service with the Rev. Joe<br />

Srygley officiating. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.Online registration is at<br />

Ora <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

PEORIA, Ill - Ora A. <strong>Gunn</strong>, 87, of 3711 W. Yorkshire Ave. died at 3:05 a.m. Wednesday,<br />

Oct. 4, 2000, at Methodist Medical Center. Born Sept. 30, 1913, in Panama, Ill., to John<br />

Edwin and Laura Etta Titsworth <strong>Gunn</strong>, he married Florence M. Priddle on Oct. 30, 1937, in<br />

St. Charles, Mo. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, John (and Gladys) of Lexington<br />

and James of Rockford; one daughter, Carol Ann (and William) Quam of Maple Grove,<br />

Minn.; one brother, Kenneth of Daphne, Ala.; one sister, Ruth Parks of Florissant, Mo.; six<br />

grandchildren; and one greatgranddaughter. He was a crane operator for Caterpillar Inc.<br />

for 34 years, retiring in 1966. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Peoria.<br />

Services will be at noon Friday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, where visitation will be<br />

two hours before. The Rev. Ralph Barnett will officiate. Burial will be in Parkview<br />

Cemetery. Memorials may be made to his church.<br />

Ora <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Ora Lofton <strong>Gunn</strong>, 77, of Chattanooga, Tennessee died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001, in a local<br />

health care facility. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church. Survivors include<br />

cousins, the Rev. and Mrs. Jay Trimble, Mrs. Lizzie Ball; a host of other cousins and friends.<br />

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Avondale Chapel of Franklin-Strickland<br />

Funeral Home, with Dr. Jay P. Trimble officiating. Burial will be in National<br />

Cemetery.Visitation will be today, Aug. 18, from 7-8 p.m.<br />

Ora <strong>Gunn</strong> Turman<br />

93, 1200 W. Patrick St., Kissimmee, died Saturday. Born in Warrenton, Ga., she moved to<br />

Kissimmee from Atlanta in 1965. She was a retired telephone company employee. She was a<br />

Methodist. Survivors: nieces, Mrs. Ronald Hoover, Billings, Mo., Lenora Ballering, Orlando;<br />

nephews, Hugh Lyle, Bakersfield, Calif., Charles Lyle, Millersville, Pa. Grissom Funeral<br />

Orie <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Orie <strong>Gunn</strong> passed away in Tiplerville, Mississippi on Thursday, August 16, 2007. She is<br />

survived by her husband General Thurmond T. <strong>Gunn</strong>. Service will be at 12 p.m. Saturday,<br />

August 18 at Ball Hill Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. ‘’
