ANDERSON, SC - Mrs. Elenore Ardis <strong>Gunn</strong> Watts, age 66, wife of Earl Eugene Watts of<br />

117 Meadowood Drive, Anderson, SC, died Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at her residence. The<br />

family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 16,<br />

2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral arrangements will be announced by The<br />

Fort Wayne, Indiana - Eli <strong>Gunn</strong>, a prominent resident of South Milford, is dead from<br />

stomach<br />

Eli Taylor <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

age 82 was born in Dripping Springs, Texas March 17, 1920 and died June 13, 2002. raised<br />

on the dairy until he moved with his family to Austin to be a Hillcrest Dairies Milk Man. he<br />

eneter the Army with his brother Joe, and served with the 36th Division in World War II.<br />

Returning to the states he was employed with the Texas Adjuster Generals Department at<br />

Camp Mahry and member of the Texas National Guard until retirement in March 1980<br />

with over 32 years of military service. Eli was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and<br />

Ada <strong>Gunn</strong>, sisters Agnes Hail, Eva Peterson, Hazel Pylant and Dorothy Sanders, and<br />

brother Joe and Howard. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Gladys, daughter Gayle<br />

and huband Larry Vandell of Austin, Nanda Kay Bryan of Fort Stockton, Texas, and sons<br />

Eli <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Eli <strong>Gunn</strong> died recently at the home of his brother, Anson <strong>Gunn</strong>, near Westfield. He was the<br />

son of Charles and Johanna Hurlbut <strong>Gunn</strong> and was born at Mixtown, Pa. Aug. 25 1850,<br />

being one of nine children. He is survived by his parents, two sons. Erwin and Allen, and<br />

three sisters. Mrs Olive Sweet, of Brookfield: Mrs. Rebecca Swan, of Addison. N. Y : Mrs.<br />

Jane Lilly, of Fort Wayne, Ind..and a brother. Anson <strong>Gunn</strong>. of Westfield, Pa. - Published<br />

Elisha <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Springfield, Illinois - The funeral of Elisha <strong>Gunn</strong> was held at 2 o’clock March 29, 1897 at<br />

the residence on Mulberry Street. The officiating clergyman at the funeral was Rev. John<br />

Cotton Brooks, rector of Christ Church. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> is survived by his widow, a daughter,<br />

Mrs. W. C. Cimons and a son Elisha. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong>’s father was named Elisah before him and<br />

was one of the old time residents of Sunfield, Conn. Of which place he was a native and<br />

where in the early years of the century he kept a store. His son was born in this city on the
