Kiowa; his mother, Jackie <strong>Gunn</strong>, Ellinwood; a brother, Fred Jr., Lenexa; and a sister,<br />

Victoria A. Forrestt, Great Bend; a stepbrother, Bradley Rose, Ellinwood; a stepsister, Kayla<br />

Rose, Ellinwood; and a friend, Komari Ruiz, Hazelton. He was preceded in death by<br />

fraternal grandparents Maurice Lee and Maryetta <strong>Gunn</strong> and maternal grandparents Jack<br />

D. and Stella Baldwin. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Immanuel United Church of<br />

Christ, Ellinwood, with the Rev. Larry Young presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m.<br />

today at Kimple Funeral Home, Ellinwood. Burial will be in Lakin Comanche District<br />

Cemetery, Lakin. Memorials may be sent to Ellinwood Grade School Nature Center,<br />

Ellinwood, in care of the funeral home.<br />

Rites at Delta for Former Rail Worker - The body of Morris <strong>Gunn</strong> , 70 years old , who died<br />

at 3 o"clock Thursday afternoon, was brought here from Essex late yesterday. The body is to<br />

remain at the Seabaugh Funeral Home until 1"oclock Sunday afternoon. Rites will be<br />

conducted at the Baptist Church at Delta. Rev. C. E. Corbin will be in Charge and burial will<br />

be at the Kenyon Cemetery . Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong>, for many years employed with the Missouri Pacific<br />

and Illinois Central Railroads, in recent years had lived at Essex. He was born at Manington<br />

, Kentucky. He is survived by five sons, Mike, Ila, Ewing, Carl and Austin <strong>Gunn</strong>, of St. Louis<br />

; A daughter Mrs Necie Brown of St. Louis and two brothers, James <strong>Gunn</strong> of Advance and<br />

Thomas <strong>Gunn</strong> of Elvins . Stoddard County, Missouri July 27, 1941 (Thomas and Sarah<br />

Morris E. <strong>Gunn</strong>, Sr.,<br />

age 70, of Richmond, died February 25, 1998. Survived by his wife, Hallie H. <strong>Gunn</strong>; a<br />

daughter, Wanda Moseley; two sons, Morris E. <strong>Gunn</strong>, Jr. and Burton <strong>Gunn</strong>; four<br />

grandchildren, Matthew Morris <strong>Gunn</strong>, Brooke N. <strong>Gunn</strong>, Krystal P. and Casey G. Moseley;<br />

four brothers, Eldridge C. <strong>Gunn</strong>, B. W. <strong>Gunn</strong>, Aaron <strong>Gunn</strong> and Ray Robin <strong>Gunn</strong>; two<br />

sisters, Avie Ann <strong>Gunn</strong> and Clairene Weaver. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was predeceased by his sister,<br />

Eunice McCall and brother Leroy <strong>Gunn</strong>. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was a member of the Richmond Masonic<br />

Lodge #10 and the Ceremonial Cast of the ACCA Temple. He was also a member of the<br />

Scottish Rite Bodies having attained the 33rd Degree. He was also chairman of the<br />

Administrative Board at Westhampton United Methodist Church. Masonic Service were<br />

held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, followed by a visitation at the ParhamChapel, Woody Funeral<br />

Home, 1771 Parham Rd. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday (today) at<br />

Westhampton United Methodist Church. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be<br />

made to Westhampton United Methodist Church, 6100 Patterson Ave., Richmond, VA<br />

Mortie <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Mrs. Lewis <strong>Gunn</strong> died last week at her home in Wildwood. Fla. She was Miss Mortie Inman,<br />

daughter of Mr. and Mrs. ,Joel L. Inman deceased. After her marriage to Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> of the<br />

Back Swamp section moved to Florida about 50 years ago. Surviving is one son, Crisp of
