Francis <strong>Gunn</strong> and Elizabeth Donohue <strong>Gunn</strong>, she was born March 25, 1914 in <strong>New</strong> York,<br />

N.Y. A five-year area resident, formerly of the Bronx, she was a retired pearl stringer for<br />

Tiffany and Co., <strong>New</strong> York, N.Y. She was the widow of John J. Dunne. Survivors include<br />

her son, John F. Dunne and wife Catherine of Beacon; three daughters, Patricia Benson<br />

and husband Charles of Pine Bush, Ann Hanratty and husband Arthur of Mahopac, Katie<br />

Curran and husband John of Washingtonville; 12 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren;<br />

and several nieces. Visitation will be held at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82<br />

South Church St., Goshen, N.Y. on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral<br />

services will be held on Monday, Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church,<br />

71 Murray Ave., Goshen, N.Y. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla.<br />

Agnes Lillian <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Agnes Lillian, born February 22, 1917, passed away peacefully February 13, 2007 at<br />

Parkridge Centre. She was predeceased by her husband John Baker <strong>Gunn</strong> in 1973 and all<br />

her siblings, <strong>My</strong>rtle, Orville, Walter and Les Engelstad. She will be greatly missed by her<br />

children Linda (Bruce) McMillan, Bob (Lorraine) <strong>Gunn</strong>, Ken (Kris) <strong>Gunn</strong>; grandchildren,<br />

Marnie McMillan (Adam Duckett), Jamie (Jerry) Harder, Robbie <strong>Gunn</strong> (Angel<br />

Cherepacha) and Jessica <strong>Gunn</strong>; three great-grandchildren, Madison, Noah, and Sienna;<br />

and her long-time dear friend Nora Fraser. She was very proud of all her family and they<br />

were always the priority in her life. She will also be remembered for her lifetime work<br />

managing The Nut House, Eaton's candy counter, and the Laura Secord store. Memorial<br />

Agnes L. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

85, former Topekan, died Monday October 22, 1951, at the home of her daughter, Mrs.<br />

Lillian EDWARDS in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She had lived in Tulsa since 1918. She was a<br />

member of the North Topeka Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.Besides her daughter,<br />

she is survived by a sister, Mrs. George WHILLIS, Cedar Falls, Iowa; and two brothers,<br />

William L. HEWITT, Spokane, Wash., and David S. HEWITT, San Francisco, Calif. The<br />

funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, with burial in<br />

Rochester Cemetery.<br />

Mrs. Agnes L. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2011. She was born on May 2, 1925, to Dick and<br />

Stasia Ruprecht. On April 10, 1945, she and Donald L. <strong>Gunn</strong> married; he predeceased her<br />

on August 23, 2006. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> retired from R&D at CWC after almost 50 years. She is<br />

survived by several sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> was<br />

preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann Veverica McAfee and her brother, Don<br />

Ruprecht. Those she leaves behind remember her with fond stories, her wit, wisdom,<br />

generosity, and fierce independence. A private family service will be held at a later date. In<br />

lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or<br />

Harbor Hospice. Fremont, Michigan
