Gloria Jean (<strong>Gunn</strong>) Stout,<br />

56, Blue Springs, Mo., passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008.Gloria was born January 24,<br />

1952, in Fort Madison, Iowa, to Donald and Marjorie (Bishop) <strong>Gunn</strong>. She graduated from<br />

Fort Madison High School in 1970. On August 28, 1970, she married Ronald Lee Stout in<br />

Fort Madison. They raised three children, Gina, Eric and Adam. During their married life,<br />

they lived in several cities, spending the last 21 years in Blue Springs. In May 2005, she<br />

earned her associate in arts from the Metropolitan Community Colleges. Gloria was a<br />

member of Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church. She was an employee of Clinical<br />

Cardiovascular Associates. She was preceded in death by her father and her<br />

grandparents.Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Ron Stout, Blue Springs; one<br />

daughter, Gina and husband, Dave Noga, Urbandale, Iowa; two sons, Eric and wife,<br />

Christy Stout, Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Adam Stout and Jessica Bushko, Overland Park,<br />

Kan., and Lee’s Summit, Mo.; six grandchildren whom she adored, Jason, Sarah and Brian<br />

Noga, and Taylor, Jordan and Lucas Stout; her mother, Marge <strong>Gunn</strong>, Oxnard, Calif.; two<br />

sisters, Gail Stout, Oxnard, Calif., and Gwen <strong>Gunn</strong>, Mesa, Ariz.; one brother, Dave (Pete)<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> and wife, Melody, Fort Madison; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Floyd and<br />

Betty Stout, Fort Madison; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.Visitation<br />

will be held Wednesday, May 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Meyers Funeral Chapel, Blue<br />

Springs, 816-229-3276. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill<br />

Presbyterian Church, Blue Springs. Interment will be at Blue Springs Cemetery. In lieu of<br />

flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MS Society or Chapel Hill<br />

Gloria Louise <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

SOUTHWEST HARBOR, Maine -Gloria Louise <strong>Gunn</strong>, 77, died July 14, 2004 at MDI<br />

Hospital. She was born Sept. 1, 1926, in Tremont, the daughter of Max Clellan and Letitia<br />

Mary (Latty) <strong>Gunn</strong>. Gloria is survived by her sister, Patricia and her husband, Harry<br />

Morrill, of Portsmouth, N.H.; her Aunt Barbara Sawyer; several nieces, nephews and<br />

great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Max Jr. and<br />

Rodney; and one sister, Betty King. Gloria graduated in 1949 with a degree in nursing<br />

from Mercy Hospital in Portland. She went on to a lifetime career in nursing at Saint<br />

Elizabeth"s Hospital in Boston. She retired as the head of the Maternity Department in<br />

1987, when she returned to Mount Desert to live in Southwest Harbor. She lived and<br />

traveled extensively throughout the world, always returning with joy to her garden. She<br />

enjoyed a good mystery, good food and the love of her family. Gloria was a member of St.<br />

Peter"s Catholic Church in Manset. Graveside memorial services will be held 10 a.m.<br />

Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at Mt. Height Cemetery, Southwest Harbor. Contributions in<br />

Gloria"s memory may be made to the Southwest Harbor Animal Shelter, 15 Wood Rd.,<br />

Southwest Harbor, Maine 04679. Arrangements by Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home, 1139<br />

Gloria Belle <strong>Gunn</strong> Emery<br />

age 85, a native of Alabama and a resident of Wichita, Kansas since 1999, passed away on<br />

June 1, 2008, she went to be with Orval her loving husband of 63 yrs. She was a member of
