Nicholas retired from General Electric Corp. and was a member of West Lynchburg<br />

Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Nicholas was preceded in<br />

death by four brothers, Archie <strong>Gunn</strong>, Sr., Clyde <strong>Gunn</strong>, Harry <strong>Gunn</strong>, Jr. and James <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

Sr.; two sisters, Annie Cole and Charlotte <strong>New</strong>comb; and one stepdaughter, Patricia N.<br />

Holland. Mrs. Nicholas is survived by two brothers, Monroe <strong>Gunn</strong> of Norfolk and<br />

Franklin <strong>Gunn</strong> of Crewe; three sisters, Janice G. Ashworth of Victoria, Barbara G.<br />

Hudgins of Crewe and Cecile G. Millner of <strong>New</strong>port <strong>New</strong>s; numerous nieces and nephews;<br />

and special friends, Mary Alice and Ray Ugron of Forest and Robbie Perrow of<br />

Lynchburg. The family would like to thank the Medical Care Center for their care given<br />

to Marguerite. A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 18, 2011,<br />

at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Robert Putt officiating. Interment will follow<br />

at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends, 12:00-1:00 p.m., Tuesday,<br />

January 18, 2011, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made in<br />

Marguerite <strong>Gunn</strong> Stevens<br />

Marguerite M. <strong>Gunn</strong> Stevens 90, died Tuesday August 19, 2008 at Firesteel Heathcare<br />

Center. Funeral services were held Saturday August 23, 2009 at First United Methodist<br />

Church with burial at Graceland Cemetery in Sioux Falls.<br />

(nee: <strong>Gunn</strong>) Di Penti, 87, of Elyria, formerly of Willoughby, will be 8 PM Wednesday, Dec.<br />

17, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Mrs. Di Penti passed<br />

away Thurs., Dec. 11, 2008 at the Wesleyan Village in Elyria. Born September 26, 1921 in<br />

Germany, she immigrated to the United States 60 years ago, settling in the Cleveland area.<br />

She was a longtime Willoughby resident before moving to Painesville, and to Elyria two<br />

years ago. She was an avid photographer and former member of the Western Reserve<br />

Photographic Society. In addition, she was a winter resident of Park City, Utah where she<br />

learned to snow ski. Mrs. Di Penti was an international secretary at the former Bailey<br />

Meter Company in Wickliffe before retiring in 1985 after 30 years of service. She is<br />

survived by her children, Michael <strong>Gunn</strong> of Willoughby and Vicki (Jim) Cranfield of<br />

Hammond, <strong>New</strong> York; two grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She also leaves<br />

her longtime companion, Jim McEvoy of Elyria. Her parents and two brothers are<br />

deceased. Friends may call from 2-4, 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev.<br />

Michael Currier, of the Body of Christ Community will officiate at the service.
