Rebekah <strong>Gunn</strong> Hughes<br />

Wednesday, January 08, 2003 - Rebekah Hughes, the daughter of Jim and Susan <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Hughes, was born in Dexter on July 23, 1977 and died in North St. Louis County as the result<br />

of an automobile accident on Jan. 06, 2003 at the age of 25. Miss Hughes had lived in Pauls<br />

Valley, Okla., from 1981 - 1995. She was a graduate from the Pauls Valley High School. She<br />

attended Gateway Bible College in Florissant for two years. She had lived in St. Louis for the<br />

past for years where she was employed by Starbeam Lighting, Co., and Marty Carsillus<br />

Dodge Mitsubishi. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. Surviving are her<br />

parents: Jim and Susan Hughes, of Jackson; one brother: Brad Hughes, of Florissant; one<br />

Niece: Breanna Hughes; paternal grandmother: Lois Hughes, of Morehouse; maternal<br />

grandparents: James and Lottie <strong>Gunn</strong>, of Dexter. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m., Friday,<br />

Jan. 10 at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will be held at 1<br />

p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2003 in the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev.<br />

L.W. Buller, of Waggoner, Okla., and Rev. Michael Boney of Pauls Valley, Okla., officiating.<br />

Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter with Watkins and Sons<br />

Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.<br />

Rebecaa Adalide <strong>Gunn</strong> Borroughs<br />

Mrs. Rebecca Borroughs, 35, of Gum Fork, died last Thursday noon, Feb. 1. Funeral<br />

Services were held at Bellamy"s Church Saturday, 2PM, Rev. D.G. Trent officiating. She is<br />

survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.A. <strong>Gunn</strong>; her husband, Paul Borroughs; three<br />

children; Pauline, Helena, and Elwood; two sisters; Mrs. Lula Walton and Mrs. Rosa Walton<br />

of Gloucester County, and four brothers, Boyd, Lutha, and Nelson of Gloucester and Loyd of<br />

Linden, NJ. Active Pallbearers at the funeral were Samuel Reece, Harvey Pointer, Samuel<br />

Leavitt, Emory Norfolk, Hansford Rowe and Richard Dunston. Gloucester Virginia Gazette<br />

Rebecca Best <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

of 2911 Rosalind Ave., S.W., Roanoke, Virginia died Tuesday in a Roanoke hospital. She was<br />

the widow of Ralph B. <strong>Gunn</strong> and a member of Second Presbyterian Church. Surviving are<br />

two sisters, Mrs. Clyde Grady, Washington, D.C., Mrs. A. M. Woodliff, Gadsden, Alabama;<br />

serveral nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen<br />

Cemetery conducted by Rev. William R. Klein and Dr. A. H. Hollingsworth, Jr. Friends may<br />

Rebecca Lee (<strong>Gunn</strong>) Cady,<br />

28, of Mesa, AZ, passed away on October 21, 2002 in Mesa. Rebecca, affectionately known as<br />

Becky, joins her little sister, Sara, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her<br />

husband, Jonathan Cady her children Landon and Lauren her parents Thomas and Aleta<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> her grandmother Marie <strong>Gunn</strong> her sisters Christina Phillips, Laurie Smith, Shawn<br />

Price her brothers William, James and Andrew. Becky was also a loving aunt to Mason,<br />

Hayden, Madison, Dawson, Colby and Brady Phillips. as well as Colton Cady. Becky will<br />

forever be remembered by her extended family as a loving sister and daughter and by her<br />

many dear friends, all of whom were blessed to have her in their lives. Visitation will be
