Evelyn <strong>Gunn</strong> Andrews<br />

Mrs. Robert Andrews, 38 of Asheboro, NC, formerly Evelyn <strong>Gunn</strong>, died early yesterday in<br />

a Chapel Hill hospital after a two week illness. Surviving are her husband Robert<br />

Andrews; her father Frank <strong>Gunn</strong> of Reidsville; three sisters; Mrs. Dorothy Carter of<br />

Reidsville, Mrs. Gladys Hubbard of Yanceyville; and Mrs. Barbara Owens of Asheboro;<br />

two brothers, J. T. <strong>Gunn</strong> of Burlington and Edward <strong>Gunn</strong> of Greensboro. Funeral will be<br />

held at 2 pm Friday in the chapel of Pugh Funeral Home, The Rev. E. H. Poteat will<br />

Evelyn <strong>Gunn</strong> Boatwright<br />

Escambia County, Alabama - Evelyn Louise Rutherford Boatwright, a native of Westville,<br />

Fla., and a resident of Atmore, Alabama since 1986, died Sunday at an area hospital. She<br />

was 82. Mrs. Boatwright attended the Holiness church. Survivors include one son, Steve<br />

Rutherford of Flomaton; two daughters, Pearl Sells and Mavis McGhee, both of Atmore;<br />

five brothers, Gene <strong>Gunn</strong> of Walnut Hill, Fla., Ben <strong>Gunn</strong> of Flomaton, Cecil <strong>Gunn</strong> of<br />

Mobile, Earl <strong>Gunn</strong> of McCullough, and James <strong>Gunn</strong> of Perdido; 10 grandchildren; 17<br />

great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9<br />

p.m. tonight at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home in Atmore, where the service is set for<br />

10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow in McCullough Cemetery<br />

Evelyn <strong>Gunn</strong> Chatham,<br />

77, died Sunday, January 25, 2009, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, Mississippi.<br />

Visitation will be tonight at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison from 5-7 p.m. and<br />

again 1 hour prior to the 11 a.m. chapel service on Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Interment<br />

will conclude at Gumlog Cemetery in Meridian at 2 p.m. Mrs. Chatham was a native of<br />

Meridian and retired as President of Chatham Electric in Meridian. She was a member of<br />

the Bridge Club at the Colonial Country Club and also a member of the Deerfield Country<br />

Club. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Madison and a member of First<br />

Presbyterian Church Primetimers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the<br />

Deacon's Fund at First Presbyterian Church of Madison. Mrs. Chatham is preceded in<br />

death by her husband, Chester D. Chatham. She is survived by her daughters, Jenny<br />

Dodder (James) of Canton and Molly Sprayberry (Tim) of Pelahatchie; grandchildren,<br />

Jimmy Dodder, Candice Long, Elizabeth Chesney, James Sprayberry and Gregory<br />

Sprayberry; and a sister, Joan Henderson of Meridian.
