preceded in death by his parents, Charles and <strong>My</strong>rtle <strong>Gunn</strong>, his wife, Eva Mae Banks <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

two brothers, five sisters, one son in law and a great great grandchild. Pallbearers will be his<br />

grandsons. The family requests that any friends who wish to prepare food to bring it to<br />

Arkadelphia Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 10 am to 11<br />

am at Stephens Funeral Home.<br />

Edward S. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Wichita Kansas, March 21, 1918 - Edward S. <strong>Gunn</strong> for thriteen years a traveling freight<br />

agent of the Santa Fe Road, died suddenly from pneumonia today. He was 50 years old<br />

and came to Wichita in 1880. A widow and several children survived, One son Charles,<br />

lives in Kansas City. Kansas City Star<br />

Services for Edward <strong>Gunn</strong>, who died at the home of his son In Luxora this morning,<br />

March 29, 1958, will be held at 2;30 p.m. tomorrow at West Side Baptist Church in Manila.<br />

The Rev. Charles Cary, pastor, will officiate. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was born !n Clarksville, Tenn., and<br />

had lived In Luxora (he past 17 years, He was 82. Survivors include two sons, Clarence<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>, Luxora; Tweedle <strong>Gunn</strong>, Keiser; two brothers, Buel <strong>Gunn</strong> and Pat <strong>Gunn</strong>, both of<br />

Manila, and eight grandchildren. Burial will be In Manila Cemetery. Blytheville, Arkansas<br />

Edward <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Edward <strong>Gunn</strong>, passed away May<br />

16, 2003. He was born on November 6, 1915 in Stockport, Cheshire, England to Edward<br />

and Polly Bennett. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doreen Sutton <strong>Gunn</strong>;<br />

they were married for 58 years. Also, his parents and sister, Irene <strong>Gunn</strong> Ruszczynski. In<br />

April of 1964 Edward and his family immigrated to the United States, living in California<br />

and for the past 17 years in Mapleton, Utah. By profession, Edward was a<br />

mechanical/design engineer and retired from Baxter/McGaw Corporation in 1980.<br />

Commercial Appeal, The (Memphis, TN) - May 6, 1995 - WALNUT - Edward <strong>Gunn</strong>, 73,<br />

retired farmer, died Friday of cancer at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley. Services will be<br />

at 2 p.m. Sunday at Harmony Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in the<br />

church cemetery here. McBride Funeral Home of Ripley has charge. He was a World War<br />

II Air Force veteran. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong>, the husband of Ara Cross <strong>Gunn</strong>, also leaves two sisters,<br />

Evelyn Pulliam of Walnut and Twila Cross of Memphis, and a brother, Terry <strong>Gunn</strong> of<br />

Edward Martin <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Edward Martin <strong>Gunn</strong> of Providence Route 1 was dead on arrival at a Reidsville hospital<br />

Monday night 1-7-1980, after being stricken while at work at the Yanceyville post office. A<br />

mail carrier and retired farmer, he was born in Caswell County Sept. 14, 1908, a son of the<br />

late Ernest L. and Mary Hicks <strong>Gunn</strong>. He was of the Methodist faith. He married the
