Gary George "Bud" Gunn, age 71, passed away on November 2, 2005. George leaves to
mourn his passing his devoted and loving wife of 36 years, Farley (nee:Garrett); his loving

November 6, 2005 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave.
(1 Mile South of Rt. 30) Schererville, IN. Funeral services will be held Monday, November
7, 2005, 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial

George N. Gunn
Sherman, Texas - Jan 3, 1929 - George Gunn, 73, died at his home four miles northwest of
Sherman. He is survived by three sons; Russell Gunn of San Angelo; Bud Gunn of Luling,
and Roy gunn of Sherman; and two daughters; Mrs. C. S. Allen of San Angelo and Mrs.
Nora DeWees of Denison. Guneral services were held on Thursday, conducted by the Rev.
J. C. Skaggs, pastor of the Forest Avenue Baptist Church. Burial in West Hill Cemetery

87, Ellenton, died Dec. 6, 1999. He was born Feb. 23, 1912, in Adairsville, Ga., and came to
Manatee County 21 years ago from Atlanta. He was self-employed in the aviation industry.
He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Doris Ellen; a son, Jim B. of Ellenton; and
four grandchildren. Graveside service and burial will be in Melwood Cemetery in Stone
Mountain, Ga. Palmetto Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge. Sarasota Newspaper.

George P. Gunn
BOOTHBAY Maine- George Piers Gunn, D.M.D., passed away peacefully Feb. 8, 2012,
with his family by his side. George was born April 14, 1923, in Greenville. His family
moved to Bangor, where he graduated from John Bapst High School, then the University of
Maine and Tufts School of Dental Medicine. He then enrolled in the U.S. Army Dental
Corps, where he served until after World War II. There, he met his future wife Audrey, an
Army nurse. They returned to Bangor, where George opened a dental practice. He enjoyed
his profession immensely, and retired after 42 years in dentistry. George was
compassionate and kind to all his patients. He volunteered his services to the needy, elderly,
and local Catholic clergy. Along with his good friend Dr. Howard Kominsky, they were
instrumental in founding the School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Maine at
Bangor. For decades, he was an active member of the local Lions Club. He was an
accomplished athlete in basketball and golf. Golf remained his passion throughout his life
and he had many life-long friendships with the people he played with in Maine and
Florida. Upon retirement George and Audrey summered in Maine at Holbrook Pond, and
wintered in Ormond Beach, Fla. He was most happy when surrounded by good friends and
