Irene Gunn
A funeral service was held Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002 at Mueller Funeral Home in
Cedarburg Washington, for Irene Gunn, who died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002 at the age of 64.
Mrs. Gunn was born Feb. 25, 1938 to the late Stanley and Stella (Kendra) Kalinowski. She
married John Gunn in 1957. Irene was a retired employee of over 30 years from American
Can Co. Survivors include: husband John; daughter Debbie (Mark) Mathison; brothers
Eddie (Marion) Kalinowski, Anton (Faye) Kalinowski, Julius (Renee) Kalinowski, Kenneth
(Jean) Warczytowa; sisters Isabelle Warczytowa, Joann (Lester) Pieffle. She was nanny of
Adam, Aaron and Jeremy Swoverland. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
Iris Dean Gunn Brown
Funeral Services for Iris Brown, age 85 of Tullahoma, Tennessee will be conducted at
1:30pm, Sunday, January 5, at the Lincoln Heights Baptist Church in Tullahoma with Rev.
Bill Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Brown died
Thursday evening at her home. Visitation with the family will be from 5pm till 9pm,
Saturday at Tullahoma Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown is survived by HER HUSBAND-
Archie Brown of Tullahoma; 1 SON- David Brown of Tullahoma ; 1 SISTER- Mary
Byrom of Manchester ; 4 GRANDCHILDREN- David, Doug, Michael & Jennifer Brown-
All of Tullahoma ; 5 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN- Robert, Nikki, Kirsty, Kelsey & Kayla
Mrs. Brown was born in Coffee County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Joe and Mary
Elizabeth Frazier Gunn. She was retired from GENESCO in Tullahoma and with her
husband operated Brown"s Grocery in Tullahoma. She was a member of the Lincoln
Heights Baptist Church.
Iris Gunn
Iris Gunn Strickland, 93, of Route 1, formerly of Eatonton, Athens and Toccoa, died
Thursday, July 9, 1998. A native of Stephens County, Mrs. Strickland was a daughter of
the late Ollington Clifton and Clarkie Busba Gunn and was the widow of Fletcher
Strickland. She was a homemaker, a foster parent in Athens and Clarke County, and a
member of West End Baptist Church, Athens. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in
Athens Memory Garden. Survivors include two daughters, Mary S. Stevens, Charlotte,
N.C., and JoAnn Doster, Fountain Inn, N.C.; seven grandchildren and a number of greatgrandchildren.
The family is at the home of Helen Bridges, Cedarline Drive, and will
receive friends noon-1:45 p.m. today at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East. Bridges
