R&S <strong>FSQ</strong> Remote Control – Description of Commands<br />

Example: "DISP:TEXT:STAT ON"<br />

Characteristics: *RST value: OFF<br />

DISPlay[:WINDow]:TIME ON | OFF<br />

DISPlay Subsystem<br />

This command switches on or off the screen display of date and time. The numeric suffix in<br />

WINDow is irrelevant.<br />

Example: "DISP:TIME ON"<br />

Characteristics: *RST value: OFF<br />

SCPI: device-specific<br />

Mode: A<br />

DISPlay[:WINDow]:TRACe:CLEar<br />

This command clears all active traces.<br />

Clearing all traces is useful, e.g. when you perform a peak search using the current trace buffer before<br />

the end of the sweep. The search is not influenced by the part of the trace that has not yet been<br />

updated.<br />

The numeric suffix at TRACe is irrelevant.<br />

This command is an event and therefore has no query.<br />

Example: "*RST"<br />

'Preset the R&S <strong>FSQ</strong>.<br />

"FREQ:CENT 1GHZ"<br />

"FREQ:SPAN 100MHZ"<br />

"SWE:TIME 5 s"<br />

'set the center frequency, span and sweep time.<br />

This command defines the type of display and the evaluation of the traces in the selected<br />

measurement window. WRITE corresponds to the Clr/Write mode of manual operation.<br />
