R&S <strong>FSQ</strong> Remote Control – Description of Commands<br />

SYSTem:PRESet<br />

This command initiates an instrument reset.<br />

SYSTem Subsystem<br />

The effect of this command corresponds to that of the PRESET key with manual operation or to the<br />

*RST command.<br />

Example: "SYST:PRES"<br />

Characteristics: *RST value: –<br />

SCPI: conform<br />

Mode: A<br />

SYSTem:REVision:FACTory<br />

This command selects the default response for remote commans “REV?”.It can only be selected in HP<br />

emulation mode.<br />

This command is an event and therefore has no query and no *RST value.<br />

Example: "SYST:REV:FACT"<br />

Characteristics: *RST value: --<br />

SCPI: device-specific<br />

Mode: A<br />

SYSTem:REVision[:STRing]<br />

This command defines the output string for remote command “REV?” in HP emulation mode. The<br />

maximum number of characters is 40.<br />

SYSTem:REVision:FACTory resets this response to it's default.<br />

Example: "SYST:REV '12345'"<br />

"REV?” returns '12345'<br />

Characteristics: *RST value: --<br />

SCPI: device-specific<br />

Mode: A<br />

SYSTem:RSWeep ON | OFF<br />

This command controls a repeated sweep of the E1 and MKPK HI HP model commands. If the<br />

repeated sweep is OFF, the marker is set without sweeping before.<br />

Example: "SYST:RSW:ON"<br />

'Sets the repeated sweep on.<br />

Characteristics: *RST value: --<br />

SCPI: device-specific<br />

Mode: A<br />

SYSTem:SHUTdown<br />

This command shuts down the instrument.<br />

This command is an event and therefore has no query and no *RST value.<br />

Example: "SYST:SHUT"<br />
