R&S <strong>FSQ</strong> Remote Control – Description of Commands<br />

SOURce:FREQuency:OFFSet -200MHz to 200MHz<br />

SOURce Subsystem<br />

This command defines a frequency offset of the tracking generator for the indicated measurement<br />

window. Frequency-converting DUTs can be measured with this setting.<br />

The possible value range is -200 MHz to 200 MHz. It should be noted that the terms (start frequency<br />

- tracking frequency offset) and (stop frequency - tracking frequency offset) are both > 1 kHz or both <<br />

-1 kHz.<br />

External I/Q modulation is switched off, if active. This command is only valid in conjunction with the<br />

tracking generator option B9.<br />

Example: "SOUR:FREQ:OFFS 10MHz"<br />

'Switches on the frequency offset of the tracking generator for screen A to 10 MHz.<br />

Characteristics: *RST value: 0 Hz<br />

Mode: A<br />

SOURce:POWer[:LEVel][:IMMediate][:AMPLitude] <br />

This command defines the output level of the tracking generator in the current measurement window.<br />

This command is only valid in conjunction with the tracking generator option B9.<br />

Parameter: ::= -30 dBm to 5 dBm. (-100 dBm to + 5dBm with option B12)<br />

Example: "SOUR:POW -20dBm"<br />

'Sets the tracking generator level in screen A to -20 dBm.<br />

Characteristics: *RST value: -20 dBm<br />

SOURce:POWer[:LEVel][:IMMediate]:OFFSet -200dB to +200dB<br />

This command defines a level offset for the tracking generator level. Thus, for example, attenuators or<br />

amplifiers at the output of the tracking generator can be taken into account for the setting.<br />

This command is only valid in conjunction with the tracking generator option R&S FSP-B9.<br />

Example: "SOUR:POW:OFFS -10dB"<br />

'Sets the level offset of the tracking generator in screen A to - 20 dBm.<br />

Characteristics: *RST value: 0dB<br />

SOURce:POWer:MODE FIXed | SWEep<br />

This command activates or deactivates the power sweep. If the power sweep is ON the enhancement<br />

label TGPWR is shown and the R&S <strong>FSQ</strong> is set to zero span mode (span = 0Hz). During the sweep<br />

time of the zero span the power at the internal tracking generator is changed linear from start power<br />

to stop power. The start and stop power values are shown on the right side below the diagram<br />
