8.2 Maintenance
8.2.1 Storing and Packing
Maintenance
For the storage temperature range of the R&S FSQ, see the instrument specifications.
When stored for an extended period of time the instrument should be protected
against dust.
The original packing should be used, particularly the protective covers at the front
and rear, when the instrument is to be transported or dispatched. If the original packing
is no longer available, use a sturdy cardboard box of suitable size and carefully
wrap the instrument to protect it against mechanical damage.

8.3 Instrument Interfaces

8.3.1 GPIB Interface
The standard instrument is equipped with an GPIB connector. An IEEE 488 interface
connector is located on the rear panel of the R&S FSQ. An external controller for
remote control of the instrument can be connected via the IEEE 488 interface connector
using a shielded cable.
