SECTION 07720 - ROOF ACCESSORIES
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.01 SUMMARY
A. Section includes roof accessories shown on the drawings and specified herein.
B. Related Sections:
1. Division 7 Section “Polyvinyl-Chloride (PVC) Roofing.”
1.02 SUBMITTALS
A. Refer to Section 01300.
B. Submit shop drawings showing rough opening dimensions, typical curb details and anchorage
methods.
1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. Coordinate and schedule work with trades whose work is affected by the work of this section.
1.04 DELIVERY AND STORAGE
A. Deliver materials to job site in manufacturer's original, unopened packaging. Store units in an
upright position and protect from damaging elements. Replace damaged materials at no
additional cost to the Owner.
PART 2 - PRODUCTS
2.01 ROOF HATCH
A. Available Manufacturers: Subject to compliance with requirements, manufacturers offering
products that may be incorporated in the Work include, but are not limited to, the following
1. Dur-red
2. J.L. Industries
3. Bilco
4. Precision Ladders
B. Provide Bilco 3'-0" x 3'-0' Type "E" galvanized steel insulated hatch, or equal product by other
manufacturers. Provide complete operating hardware and locking devices.
PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.01 EXAMINATION
A. Examine subsurfaces to receive work and report, in writing, to the Architect any detrimental
conditions. Failure to observe this injunction constitutes a waiver to any subsequent claims to
the contrary. Commencement of work will be construed as acceptance of all subsurfaces.
3.02 PREPARATION
A. Install accessories in prepared openings.
