B. Porcelain Floor Tile (FT-6):
1. Composition: Porcelain
2. Size: 13 by 13 inches.
3. Nominal Thickness: 5/16 inch.
4. Color: Regal Rouge CV 13, Dal-Tile.
C. Glazed Wall Tile: Provide flat tile complying with the following requirements:
1. Module Size: 4-1/4 by 4-1/4 inches and as scheduled. Refer to drawings for patterns.
2. Thickness: 5/1 6 inch.
3. Face: Plain with cushion edges.
4. Mounting: Factory back-mounted.
5. Colors: Provide colors in patterns indicated on drawings. For bidding purposes, use
the following Dal-tile pricing groups or similar groups from other manufacturers:
a. Field Tile: WT-1: Almond K165.
b. Accent Tile:
1) WT-2: Garden Spot 0141
2) WT-3: Mustard Q012
3) WT-4: Galaxy 1469
4) WT-5: Orange Burst Q097
6. Shapes: As follows, selected from manufacturer’s standard shapes:
a. Coved base for Portland Cement Mortar Installations.
b. Straight base for Thin-Set Mortar Installations.
c. Surface bullnose for thin set mortar installations.
d. Internal Corners: Field-butted square corners, except with coved base and
cap angle pieces designed to member with stretcher shapes.
2.04 THRESHOLDS
A. General: Provide thresholds that are uniform in color and finish, fabricated to sizes and
profiles indicated to provide transition between tile surfaces and adjoining finished floor
surfaces.
1. Threshold: 1/2" x 3" tapered marble threshold.
a. Fabricate thresholds to heights indicated, but not more than 3/8 inch above
adjoining finished floor surfaces, with transition edges beveled on a slope of
no greater than 1:2.
b. Provide marble threshold at transition from toilet rooms to hallways.
2. Metal Edge: Schluter RENO-U or equal at other transitions between tile and carpet or
vinyl composition tile. Profile as required for tile and adjacent material.
a. Finish: Brushed stainless steel.
3. Submit color samples for Architects approval.
2.05 MORTAR
A. Mortar Bed: Portland Cement Mortar: ANSI A108.1A
B. Bond Coat: Latex-Portland Cement Mortar: ANSI A118.4.
2.06 GROUTING
A. Latex-Portland Cement Grout: ANSI A 118.6.
1. Unsanded for joints between 1/16" and 1/8".
a. Products: Mapei Ker 800 or approved equal.
2. Sanded for joint over 1/8".
