SECTION 10800 - TOILET AND BATH ACCESSORIES
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.01 SUMMARY
A. Section includes toilet room and janitor room accessories as shown on drawings and as
specified herein.
B Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary
Conditions and Division-1 Specification sections, apply to work of this section.
1.02 DESCRIPTION
A. Toilet accessories required for this work are limited to items specified in this section.
B. Contractor shall provide solid backing and blocking as required for provided items including:
1. Electric Hand Dryers
2. Handicap Grab Bars
3. Mirrors
4. Mop and Broom Holders
C. Owner Finished Contractor Installed Items: The following items will be provided by the Owner
and Installed by the Contractor:
1. Towel Dispensers
2. Soap Dispensers
3. Toilet Paper Dispensers
1.03 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED IN OTHER SECTIONS
A. The following are specified in other sections of these Specifications. Cooperate as required
with all other trades to ensure proper and adequate provisions for the installation of toilet
accessories:
1. Backing and Blocking: Division 6 Section “Rough Carpentry.”
2. Toilet Compartments: Division 10 Section “Solid Phenolic Plastic toilet
Compartments.”
1.04 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. Inserts and Anchorages: Furnish inserts and anchoring devices which must be set in
concrete or built into masonry; coordinate deliver with other work to avoid delay.
B. Accessory Locations: Coordinate accessory locations with other work to avoid interference
and to assure proper operation and servicing of accessory units.
1.05 SUBMITTALS
A. Product Data: Submit manufacturer's technical data and installation instructions for each
toilet accessory.
B. Setting Drawings: Provide setting drawings, templates, instructions, and directions for
installation of anchorage devices and cut-out requirements in other work.
