conditions affecting the mechanical work.
The structural drawings shall be considered part of the mechanical work insofar as these drawings furnish this
Division with information relating to design and construction of the building.
Structural drawings take precedence over the general building layouts and details shown on the mechanical
drawings.
The structural engineer shall approve all attachments to or modifications of any structural members in the
building required for installation of the mechanical systems.
INTERPRETATION OF DRAWINGS AND DOCUMENTS:
If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any
part of the plans, specifications, or other proposed contract documents, or finds discrepancies in or omissions
from the drawings or specifications, he may submit to the Owner's representative, a written request for an
interpretation or correction thereof. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery.
Any interpretation or correction of the proposed documents will be made only by addenda duly issued, and a
copy of such addenda will be mailed or delivered to each person receiving a set of such documents. The Owner
will not be responsible for any other explanations or interpretations of the proposed documents. All questions
shall be submitted at least seven days in advance of bidding.
The Owner's representative will interpret the meaning of any part of the drawings and specifications about which
any misunderstanding may arise, and his decisions will be final. Should there appear to be any error or
discrepancy in or between the drawings and specifications, the contractor shall refer the matter to the Owner's
representative for adjustment before proceeding with the work. Should the contractor proceed with the work
without so referring the matter, he does so on his own responsibility.
WORKMANSHIP:
Workmanship shall be the best quality of its kind for the respective industries, trades, crafts, and practices, and
shall be acceptable in every respect to the Owner's representative.

FEES & PERMITS:
All necessary permits and fees required in connection with the work will be paid by the school district.
SITE INSPECTION AND EXAMINATION OF DRAWINGS:
The contractor shall carefully study all drawings and specifications pertaining to the work. If any of the work as
laid out, indicated, or specified is contrary to or conflicts with any governing ordinances or regulations, the same
shall be reported to the Owner's representative before submitting a bid. The Owner's representative will then
