2.4 WIRING:
b. All ceiling-mounted speakers to be provided with Rauland ACC1000 Baffle.
c. All ceiling-mounted speakers shall be provided with Rauland ACC1101 Backbox
and ACC1104 Bridge or ACCBAF-TILE speaker assembly

A. All speakers shall be connected in parallel with minimum 20 gauge two twisted pair wire
(West Penn 25355).
PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.1 EXAMINATION:
A. Examine conditions, with the Installer present, for compliance with requirements and other
conditions affecting the performance of the Integrated Intercom system.
B. Do not proceed until unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.
3.2 INSTALLATION:
A. GENERAL
1. Install system in accordance with NFPA 70 and other applicable codes. Install
equipment in accordance with manufacturer's written instructions.
B. WIRING METHODS:
1. Install wiring in raceway except within consoles, desks, and counters, and except in
accessible ceiling spaces, and in gypsum board partitions, where cable wiring
method may be used. Use UL listed plenum cable in environmental air spaces
including plenum ceilings. Conceal wiring except in unfinished spaces.
C. IMPEDANCE AND LEVEL MATCHING:
1. Carefully match input and output impedance’s and signal levels at signal interfaces.
Provide matching networks where required.
D. CONTROL CIRCUIT WIRING:
1. Install control circuits in accordance with NFPA 70 and as indicated. Provide number
of conductors as recommended by system manufacturer to provide control functions
indicated or specified.
2. The contractor shall mount a main distribution frame behind the Integrated Electronic
Communications Network console. Each wire shall be laid down on terminal punch
