B. Install resilient flooring and accessories after other finishing operations, including painting,
have been completed. Do not install resilient flooring over concrete slabs until the latter have
been cured and are sufficiently dry to achieve bond with adhesive as determined by resilient
flooring manufacturer’s recommended bond and moisture test.

2.02 MATERIALS
A. Vinyl Composition Tile: ASTM F 1066 Class 2, Through Pattern; 12” x 12” unless otherwise
indicated, and as follows:
1. Composition 1 - asbestos-free.
2. Gage: 1/8”.
3. Color: Colors indicated below are from Azrock “Cortina Colors” and “Cortina
Complements” product lines and indicate design intent. Provide colors indicated, or
comparable colors from other manufacturers, subject to Architect’s approval, in
patterns shown on drawings,

B. Rubber Wall Base: Provide rubber base complying with ASTM F-1861, Type TP, Group 1
(solid) Standard Specification for Resilient Wall Base, with matching end stops and preformed
or molded corner units, and as follows:
1. Height: 4”.
2. Thickness: 1/8” gage.
3. Style: Standard top-set cove for resilient flooring and straight at carpet.
4. Finish: Matte.
5. Color: As selected by Architect.
C. Resilient Edge Strips: Homogeneously constructed of first-quality resilient rubber compound,
free of objectionable odors, blister, cracks and other imperfections that will affect the
