esclusivamente con la tecnica <strong>di</strong> ricostruzione a monofascio, oggi<br />
si tende a prendere sempre più in considerazione la possibilità <strong>di</strong><br />
ricostruire il legamento con la tecnica a doppio fascio 8-9 (Fig. 4),<br />
che dal punto <strong>di</strong> vista anatomico sembrerebbe dare risultati che si<br />
avvicinano molto <strong>di</strong> più alla normalità offrendo una stabilità ottimale<br />
del ginocchio ai <strong>di</strong>versi gra<strong>di</strong> <strong>di</strong> flesso-estensione, maggior<br />
resistenza ai carichi rotatori 10 e agevolando l’osteointegrazione.<br />
Una parentesi importante va ancora riservata alla chirurgia computer<br />
assistita; da molti anni accompagna la chirurgia ortope<strong>di</strong>ca<br />
e viene utilizzata soprattutto nella chirurgia protesica per valutare<br />
la cinematica articolare, stabilendo le <strong>di</strong>mensioni dei segmenti<br />
scheletrici in esame, i rapporti articolari e valutando le deformità;<br />
è inoltre d’aiuto in quanto permette <strong>di</strong> constatare il corretto posizionamento<br />
delle componenti protesiche durante l’intervento chirurgico<br />
con l’opportunità <strong>di</strong> correggere in tempo reale l’orientamento<br />
delle componenti stesse.<br />
Di recente si stanno aprendo nuove frontiere all’utilizzo del navigatore<br />
anche nella chirurgia non protesica; sembra infatti possa<br />

essere applicato anche in altri interventi chirurgici, come nella ricostruzione<br />
legamentosa o nelle osteotomie valutando così in tempo<br />
reale l’orientamento dei tagli e dei tunnel ossei e potendo adattare<br />
meglio la tecnica chirurgica all’anatomia del singolo paziente.<br />
Tutte queste innovazioni, rappresentano un’arma importante a<br />
<strong>di</strong>sposizione del chirurgo ortope<strong>di</strong>co per poter gestire al meglio il<br />
paziente affetto da una patologia al ginocchio, non <strong>di</strong>menticando<br />
che l’esperienza del chirurgo e la corretta in<strong>di</strong>cazione all’intervento<br />
chirurgico risultano comunque essere fattori essenziali e<br />
solo l’insieme <strong>di</strong> tutte queste con<strong>di</strong>zioni può garantire un buon<br />
risultato.<br />
