della chirurgia limitata all’avampiede si ricorre nel postoperatorio
all’utilizzo di plantari con scarico calcaneare, sostegno della volta
longitudinale e mediale e stabilizzazione del retropiede. Si possono
così ridurre i rischi di progressione della malattia. In questa ottica
ha senso ricorrere all’utilizzo di plantari di sostegno da subito,
anche prima dell’intervento chirurgico. Tali plantari vanno realizzati
sempre “su impronta” per disegnarli il più anatomicamente
possibile sul piede del singolo paziente.
Il trattamento medico della patologia di base è, e deve essere,
appannaggio del reumatologo, il quale deve dare l’indirizzo sui
tempi dei trattamenti e deve concordare il programma terapeutico
riabilitativo con l’ortopedico ed il fisiatra.
Il trattamento isolato senza una visione complessiva medica, fisiatrica
e chirurgica non giova certo alla prognosi della malattia.
