della chirurgia limitata all’avampiede si ricorre nel postoperatorio<br />

all’utilizzo <strong>di</strong> plantari con scarico calcaneare, sostegno della volta<br />

longitu<strong>di</strong>nale e me<strong>di</strong>ale e stabilizzazione del retropiede. Si possono<br />

così ridurre i rischi <strong>di</strong> progressione della malattia. In questa ottica<br />

ha senso ricorrere all’utilizzo <strong>di</strong> plantari <strong>di</strong> sostegno da subito,<br />

anche prima dell’intervento chirurgico. Tali plantari vanno realizzati<br />

sempre “su impronta” per <strong>di</strong>segnarli il più anatomicamente<br />

possibile sul piede del singolo paziente.<br />

Il trattamento me<strong>di</strong>co della patologia <strong>di</strong> base è, e deve essere,<br />

appannaggio del reumatologo, il quale deve dare l’in<strong>di</strong>rizzo sui<br />

tempi dei trattamenti e deve concordare il programma terapeutico<br />

riabilitativo con l’ortope<strong>di</strong>co ed il fisiatra.<br />

Il trattamento isolato senza una visione complessiva me<strong>di</strong>ca, fisiatrica<br />

e chirurgica non giova certo alla prognosi della malattia.<br />
