L’analisi istologica ha infine evidenziato una buona integrazione del<br />
<strong>di</strong>spositivo all’interno del tessuto ten<strong>di</strong>neo circostante con una buona<br />
riparazione cicatriziale e presenza non eccessiva <strong>di</strong> infiltrato linfocitario<br />
a <strong>di</strong>mostrazione della biocompatibilità del materiale.<br />

L’efficacia della riparazione dei ten<strong>di</strong>ni utilizzando <strong>di</strong>spositivi<br />
interni riassorbibili ha mostrato buoni risultati con rottura <strong>di</strong> carico<br />
me<strong>di</strong>o con valori comparabili alle tecniche più comuni utilizzate in<br />
letteratura. I risultati <strong>di</strong> questo stu<strong>di</strong>o e le prove in vitro ed ex vivo,<br />
hanno confermato che l’ applicazione <strong>di</strong> questo nuovo <strong>di</strong>spositivo<br />
interno con materiale riassorbibile consentirebbe resistenza della<br />
riparazione e una mobilizzazione precoce. La biodegradabilità e<br />
l’assenza <strong>di</strong> reazioni avverse infiammatorie possono avere implicazioni<br />
importanti anche nella prospettiva clinica.<br />
