Vantaggi della modularità del collo negli steli femorali<br />

<strong>di</strong> scegliere la taglia dello stelo che meglio si adatta al femore<br />

in<strong>di</strong>pendentemente dalla necessità <strong>di</strong> correggere off-set e <strong>di</strong>smetria.<br />

Una volta impiantati il cotile e lo stelo definitivi il chirurgo,<br />

guidato dalla pianificazione preoperatoria, può testare il sistema<br />

modulare che meglio ricostruisce la biomeccanica articolare valutando<br />

la stabilità dell’impianto e la <strong>di</strong>smetria.<br />

L’adeguato ripristino della cinematica articolare determina una<br />

maggiore stabilità dell’impianto, riduce le possibilità <strong>di</strong> fallimento<br />

e, migliorando l’efficienza degli abduttori, migliora i risultati clinici<br />

della chirurgia protesica.<br />
