Abstract<br />

The present paper evaluated part of the benefits of the attendance proposed by the Behavioral<br />

Cognitivi Psychology Ambulatory for children and adolescents with the diagnose ofattention deficit/<br />

hyperactivity disorder and conduct disorder. It was targeted the improv<strong>em</strong>ent of the behaviorcomplaint<br />

and the adaptation to the medication, enabling the quality of life increase for the children<br />

and adolescents, and also to their relatives. Four children with the age ranging from 7 to 14 years old,<br />

that were sent by the neuropediatrician and/or the psychiatrist for psychological attendance, that<br />

had attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder and conduct disorder, had one psychological session per<br />

week, during 10 weeks and a 40 minute duration each on the cognitive-behavioral approach. The<br />

participants of the research were randomly divided in two groups through the referral’s protocols,<br />

the control group and the therapy group. The referrals were analyzed, and were applied the following<br />

instruments: psychological anamnesis, Escala de Stress Infantil, ESI - Inventário de Estilos Parentais,<br />

Escala de Rastreamento Vanderbilt, e CBCL - Child Behavior Checklist. The analysis of the results<br />

d<strong>em</strong>onstrated the relevance and efficacy of the cognitive-behavioral approach on the sample of the<br />

therapy group.<br />
