L'heure est à la célébration d'une nouvelle culture, mélange de la
réactivité et de la créativité de Remus avec la rigueur et la
technologie de Romulus.

Selon un haut gestionnaire de Remus membre de l'équipe d'intégration:
«The integration of the culture is a success factor for the merger [ ... ] We have
recognized that and are operating accordingly.» Selon lui, jamais deux entreprises
ayant autant de succès n'avaient fusionné dans le passé et il n'existait aucun modèle,
ce qui rendait le travail intéressant. Des synergies se réaliseraient si les deux équipes
parvenaient à s'enrichir mutuellement au niveau de la culture. Selon le président de
Remus:
The point is not to make everything the same, but to come to a
common understanding on the part of everyone on the staff about
the future of Romulus-Remus. If we preserve our strengths, but at
the same lime are open to new approaches and ideas [. . .j then the
success of Romulus-Remus will be guaranteed.
Un autre haut gestionnaire confirmait ses anticipations de synergies reliées
aux complémentarités culturelles de la façon suivante:
1 think that you don 't merge if you do things the very same way that
the other guy does il, because then there is no complementarity. You
benefit from the difference. 1 think the fact that we are different will
make the merger successful. [. . .j We will complement each other
[. . .j ant this make the particular charm of this merger. [. . .j We are
not going to replace-displace each other, but we will complement
each other.
