7.2.4.1 IKILASI LOKUFUNDELA (THE CLASSROOM CONTEXT)<br />

Njengoba ngike ngachaza esahlukweni sesibili ukuthi uYoung (2002) uthi ikilasi<br />

yikhaya elikude nekhaya lengane. Ukusho lokhu uYoung ngoba echaza ukuthi ikilasi<br />

akudingi ukuba kube yindawo eyesabekayo enganeni, ikakhulukazi esencane. Kodwa<br />

kunalokho ingane kumele ikujabulele ukuba sekilasini. Njengoba ngike ngachaza<br />

esahlukweni sesibili, ezinye zezinto ezenza ikilasi likulungele ukufunda ukuba umoya<br />

osekilasini ube mtoti phakathi kukathisha nabafundi, phakathi kwabafundi bebodwa,<br />

kuvunguze umoya wothando nokunakekela, njalonjalo (Young, 2002; Kumar, 2007).<br />

Ngaphandle kwalokhu, laba bacwaningi babuye bachaze ukuthi ikilasi phela uma lifana<br />

nekhaya kudingeka libe lihle, lingabi nezimpahla eziyimfucuza njengefenisha<br />

engasebenzi, ukukhanya kungene kahle, lifudumale lapho kumakhaza, liphole kamnandi<br />

lapho kushisa, njalonjalo.<br />

Kwabonakala ukuthi othisha ababefundisa izingane zebanga lesibili nelesithathu kuzo<br />

zombili izikole babenomoya omuhle ezinganeni. Emakilasini lapho kwakufundiselwa<br />

khona ukufunda okubhaliwe umoya wokuthokomala nokuba sekhaya wawukhona.<br />

Isibonelo, othisha babekhombisa ukuqonda ukuthi izingane abazifundisayo zincane<br />

ngakho bangazicasukeli lapho zenza amaphutha noma zehluleka ukwenza<br />

njengokulindelekile. Izingane zazikwazi ukukhuluma ngokukhululeka ekilasini, zibuze,<br />

ziphendule ngendlela ekhombisa ukungabi nakwesaba, zize zigxume zifuna ukuba<br />

uthisha azikhombe ukuba ziphawule noma ziphendule. Ezazingenakho okokubhala<br />

zaziya kuthisha aziphe okokubhala, ongalolile ipeni uthisha amnike, ongenayo injobo<br />

yokucisha aye kuthisha amuphe, njalonjalo.<br />

Kwaphawuleka ukuthi othisha basebenzisa kakhulu indlela yokuncoma izingane,<br />

ukuzikhuthaza ukuba zenze kahle, kodwa bakwenza lokhu ikakhulukazi besebenzisa<br />

isiNgisi. Lokhu zazikuthanda izingane ngoba zazize zishaye ihlombe, nazo zithi: “Thank<br />

you, keep it up, shine”, ukukhombisa ukuthakasela ukunconywa noma ukubongela<br />
