11 zaseNingizimu Afrika amandla alinganayo. Lezo zilimi yilezi ezilandelayo: isiXhosa,<br />

isiZulu, isiSwazi, isiSuthu, isiPedi, isiNdebele, isiTswana, isiTsonga, isiVenda, isiNgisi,<br />

kanye nesiBhunu. Ngakho-ke, ngenxa yokuthi lezi zilimi eziyi-11 zase Ningizimu Afrika<br />

zithathwa njengezibalulekile ngokulingana, kubalulekile ukuthi zaziwe futhi zifundwe<br />

ngabafundi ezikoleni ngendlela eyiyo ukuze zithuthuke.<br />

Bakhona nabacwaningi abayibheke ngeso lokhozi indaba yokulinganiswa kwezilimi,<br />

ngenxa yokuthi kubonakala kunokudembesela ekwenzeni lokho okukhulunywayo<br />

ngezilimi, kodwa kube kungenzeki (Kamwangamalu, 2000; Ndimande, 2004;<br />

ekuthunazeni ulimi lwesiZulu. Lapho ufica kusetshenziswa ulimi lwesiZulu ngendlela<br />

engeyiyo, kodwa kungabi khona muntu obona inkinga kulokho, maqede kuthakaselwe<br />

ngumphakathi lokho konakala kolimi, uzwe nabantu sebelusebenzisa ulimi ngendlela lezi<br />

zikhungo ezilusebenzisa ngayo, bebe abantu bazi kamhlophe ukuthi kumele ngabe<br />

lusebenziseke kanjani. Ngingabala amagama nje ambalwa anjengalana: eMzansi Afrika<br />

(esikhundleni sokuthi eNingizimu Afrika, njengoba lokhu kuyisiXhosa), ‘i-gate’<br />

esikhundleni sokuthi isango, ‘ama-twins’ esikhundleni sokuthi amawele, namanye<br />

amaningi.<br />

Ngamanye amazwi kubalulekile-ke ukuthi ukufundiswa kwalezi zilimi kubhekelelwe<br />

ukuze abafundi bazazi kahle futhi bakwazi ukusebenzisa amakhono abawazuzile<br />

ekufundeni lezi zilimi. Nakuba-ke ziningi izinguquko esezenzekile kwezeMfundo,<br />

bekungakabonakali mehluko noma umthelela wakho ekuthuthukiseni amazinga abafundi<br />

kuzo zonke lezi zilimi ekukwazini ukufunda okubhaliwe kanye nokubhala, ikakhulukazi<br />

ukufunda umbhalo okuyikhona kuyisisekelo semfundo. Lapho abafundi sebethuthukile<br />

emakhonweni okukwazi ukufunda, bayahloma ngokwempilo; bakuqonde kahle<br />
