and mental health agencies. The growing number of
music therapy projects being initiated throughout the
country requires the establishment of basic princiaples,
prectice standards and training requirements for the
best of an organized growth of the field.
The expanding of the training progam that is being put
in effect will certainly have a strong impact in tah field,
through the “production” of more qualified music
therapists and their future work initiatives throughout
the country.

S'il est vrai que l'Art et le soin sont associés depuis les
temps les plus anciens de l'humanité, il faut bien
admettre que c'est avec le XXeme siecle qu'un interet
purement médical apparait, et qu'enfin, la
musicothérapie retrouve ses fondements théoriques et
pratiques comme activité d'art, et comme département
de l'art-Thérapie.
Alors que le modble initial d'analyse se référe aux
techniques psychothérapeutiques, c'est dans les
