rules. (Diagram 6)
The most important of these are:
- The work takes place behind a locked door
- There is a "Don't disturb" note on the door, which must
be respected.
- There is no telephone in the room
- All teachers who work in the field of Self experience,
performance and didactics are subjects to Professional
Secrecy according to the ethical code for professional
music therapists.
- All sessions are recorded or videotaped.
- Before they start the program all students are
prepared for taking responsability for group members
as a compulsory element of the training.

- Supervision is compulsory for the Teaching music
therapist who do Self experience training with the
students.
In continuation of the ethical rules I'll mention some
special circumstances connected with this "Teaching
music therapy", which differ form a pure personal,
individual music therapy training:
- you cannot choose your own therapist. You can
express your wish about the sex of the therapist - and
this will be accepted when possible.
- there is a precise number of hours available - no
matter where you are in your process. (If you want or
need to go deeper into the proces, you must add a
personal, individual therapy outside the teaching
training).
