improvisaciones del musicoterapeuta es implicar<br />

Robbins modelaron la manera en que la música puede<br />

ser un medio primordial para motivar y realizar el<br />

In this report we refer the case <strong>of</strong> a seven year-old<br />

young girl, born dumb, under psychotherapy treatment<br />

since the age <strong>of</strong> two. The diagnosis is symbiotic<br />

psychosis, with autistic traits.<br />

We underline a new modality <strong>of</strong> intervention, that comes<br />

from twenty years activity with deaf and mental retarded<br />

children. This method is producing good results also in<br />

the treatment <strong>of</strong> psychotic children. The main points are:<br />

- the child is sitting on top <strong>of</strong> a square piano;<br />

- a psychomotorial therapist is sitting on the piano, near<br />

the child;<br />

- one or both parents are also present, beside the piano;<br />

- the musictherapist plays the piano, observing the<br />

child, matching his tempo, his energetic level, his tone<br />

variations, his movements. Reading the minimal<br />

posture and body cues <strong>of</strong> the child like a living score, he<br />

reaches a deep empathy state with the child;
