The quality <strong>of</strong> "to wonder" is latent in every child when<br />

he awake to world arround him, a reality that he has<br />

never experienced before. In traditional pedagogy, the<br />

saying goes: "Nothing enters the intelligence which has<br />

not previously passed through the senses". But this<br />

leaves out something fundamental as I realized when I<br />

treat that girld.The old saying should really be: "There is<br />

nothing that enters the intelligence which has not<br />

previously passed through the senses, but in an<br />

affective and vital way ". Becouse no development is<br />

possible neither corporal, nor intellectual, nor spiritual,<br />

without affection .<br />

With these children, the problem is nor in their senses<br />

but in the lack <strong>of</strong> interest and in the blocket affective live.<br />

They have not interest in things as things, or persons as<br />

persons, but only in the affe tive meaning that they have<br />

for them. For that, if we want the child to reorn to reality,<br />

or to learn, we had, seems to me, to sorround thing<br />

persons or situations with amotion,affection, beauty, at<br />

the beggining <strong>of</strong> the treatment., spetially. If the firsth<br />

contact with a thing is bei surrounded by a certain<br />

dramatism, surprise, stetic and emotional<br />

athmosphere, it will be engraved in his mind, always.<br />

There is nothing like music to awaken the creativity <strong>of</strong><br />

the child, even autistic or psychotic. I found that music<br />

was the most effective way to awaken interest, much<br />

more than drawings, photographs and candy.<br />

METHODOLOGY:<br />

STAGES IN TREATMENT: A) PREPARATION :<br />

I.- To get INFORMATION from: Psychiatrist, Clinical<br />

Psychologist or Teacher (if patient is in Spetia]<br />

Education School). Mother and father (separatly). Social<br />

Worker<br />

II.-<br />

OBSERVATION period : arround 15 days.
