An expectant mother does not know if her child will be<br />

male or female, during the first months, healthy or not,<br />

she must besides experience a new balance within the<br />

couple with her partner; so she could develop anxiety<br />

with bad influences on pregnancy child birth and on<br />

future parents-child relationship.<br />

<strong>Music</strong> <strong>Therapy</strong> can give an opportunity to the pregnant<br />

woman to comunicate with her future baby and so<br />

thinking to him or her like a real human being; for this<br />

<strong>Music</strong> <strong>Therapy</strong> will be a great help to the expectant<br />

mother during pregnancy. In fact the mother because <strong>of</strong><br />

ther psychological regression, brings to light her own<br />

sonorous ways <strong>of</strong> comunication learning throughout the<br />

pregnancy, to talk with her baby, using sound: the baby<br />

perceives at first only sound vibrations but finally he/she<br />

can perceive the sound.<br />

For this I propose an experimental use <strong>of</strong> <strong>Music</strong><br />

<strong>Therapy</strong> in the course <strong>of</strong> pregnancy to protect the<br />

expectant mother and her future parent-child<br />

relationship avoiding communication conflicts to<br />

parental fears, memories or projections.<br />

El embarazo es un momento en el que, desde el punto<br />

de vista psicodinámico, se producen en la mujer una<br />

serie de cambios y re-organizaciones en las que se<br />

experimentan vivencias nuevas y se reviven<br />

sensaciones y sentimientos referidos sobre todo a la<br />

relación con la madre y al mismo papel de hija. La<br />

regresión, por tanto, es una de las características<br />

importantes de este estadio.<br />

El hecho de no saber cómo será el niño ni de qué sexo<br />

será durante los primeros meses, el tener que movilizar<br />

las propias capacidades de ser madre, el nuevo<br />

equilibrio que se crea en la pareja que espera el niño,
