The aim of this work was to assessed the influence of some psychosocial variables on metabolic
control and treatment adherence in insulin-dependent diabetic patients; sanitary personal was
training to develop therapeutic skills and behavior modifications techniques with the aim of
increase treatment adherence and evaluate the effect on patients evolution and methabolic control.
Results show the relation between adherence and patient perception about satisfaction of health
care professional with patient behavior; relation with metabolic control is not clear.
4138.4 An Investigation on the mental state of high-school students influenced by mental health
education, Chunna Hou, JiLin University, China
Objective: To study the effect of the mental health education on mental state of high-school
students. To analyze and inquire the reason and offer the information to develop the psychological
education. Method: Randomly choose 431 students of grade 1, 2 in two schools, do a whole test
by Mental Health Test. Result: There are some differences between the students mentioned above.
Conclusion: The psychological problem mainly embodied on physical symptom, self-condemning
tendency, terrific and impulsive tendency, and there are some differences among different grades.
Mental health level of female students is inferior to male students. Therefore, mental health
education is necessary to keep good mental health level in school.
4138.5 The influence of psychical controlling source on the psychical health of destitute
undergraduates, Lan Luo, Jiangxi Normal University of China, China
This paper is to analyze the influence of psychical controlling source on the psychical health of
destitute undergraduates. Inner-controlling, influential others, IPC and SCL-90 are adopted to
make statistic analysis for 500 destitute undergraduates. The result shows that there are prominent
distinguishes between males and females on inner-controlling, influential others and opportunities;
distinguishes between only children and not-only children on inner-controlling and opportunities;
distinguishes between city students and country students on inner-controlling, influential others
and opportunities. Correlation and Regression shows that there is great influence on psychical
health of destitute undergraduates made by psychical controlling source.
4138.6 Impoverished undergraduates’social support and its effect on mental health, Jinhui Ye,
Qingjiang Mao, Xia Zheng, Wen Li, School of Education, Jiangxi Normal University, China
To examine the status of social support for impoverished undergraduates and its effect on mental
health, 445 poorest undergraduates were assessed with Social Support Rating Scale and System
Checklist-90. The results indicated that only-child students’ score was higher than not only-child
students’ score in subjective support and utilization degree of support; and urban students’ score
was lower than suburban students’ score in utilization degree of support. The result of regression
analysis showed that social support has significant effect on the poorest undergraduates’ mental
health.
