The capabilities of the catastrophe theory for the description of a psychological processes are
submitted. The equation of a creative state of the man is proposed; Scientific efficiency of the
scientist; information density of professionalism of the scientist, factor of personal creative activity.
The equation enables by methods of the catastrophe theory to analyze behavior of the scientist.
The introduced analysis can by the theoretical basis of quantitative control of scientific activity
through change of professionalism, competence, personal characteristics.
3105.3 Analysis and verification of achievements in science research of the cognitive
neuroscience by educatioal practice, Jie Wu, China
This study examined the effects of achievements in science research of the cognitive neuroscience
on developing child intelligence, cultivating abilities of child creative thinking, arousing
enthusiasm for child study, improving double-language teaching in kindergarten or school,
enhancing memory abilities of child, overcoming studying tiredness of child. Meanwhile, in this
article the author analyzed the importance of education in 0-6 old to lifelong intelligence, the
malpractices of non--differentiating teaching between literature and science in secondary school,
the erroneous statement about it can enhance child intelligence to develop right-hemisphere of
brain in educational circles in China.
3105.4 A study on students’ defense styles and relationship between defense mechanisms and

450 university students were investigated by EPQ and DSQ. And then compared the defense styles
of the students between introversion and extroversion, neuroticism and calmness, higher
psychoticism and lower one. The difference on the defense styles of the university students
between the two group of each factor was extremely significant. There was an intimate connection
between immature defense mechanisms and personality character P and N. And also there was an
intimate connection between mature defense mechanisms and factor E. Conclusion: The defense
styles of the students and their individual character were closely related.
3105.5 Exploring the link between vagal tone and emotion reaction, Zheng Luo, Dejun Guo,

Drawn from Porges’ polyvagal theory, we tested the link between vagal tone and emotion reaction
in toddler and adult. Presented a short film to elicit sad, we found that adult women with high
vagal tone had less physiological arouses and changes than adult woman with low vagal tone. In a
series of laboratory procedures eliciting toddler's angry and fear, we found that there is not
different in emotional physiological arouse in both high and low vagal tone groups. These indicate
that physiological self-regulation seems to be a skill that might change with age, for diminished
autonomic arousal for resource-conservation.
