The authors conceive betrayal as Elangovan and Shapiro: a voluntary violation of mutually known
pivotal expectations of the trustor by the trusted party (trustee).In survey research we link
disloyalty with machiavellism, values, empathy and other traits. In the field experiment in
Cialdini’s and Dolinski’s paradigm, students in the street are asked to support a proposal for
extension of vacation and not to sign for any other project. Awhile later he/she is tempted to
subscribe on the list for another project on this matter. One part of Ss gets gratification for
subscription on the second list.

4148.1 The role of alternative cause in causal induction based on covariation, Qingfen Hu,

The present study investigated how people combine the information about covariation and
alternative cause in cuasal Induction. In order to examine the effects of each cue, the study
specified the variable of "the degree of co-existing between alternative cause and candidate cause"
and controlled the order of cue presentation. The results were as follows: (1)Alternative cause did
affect on subjects' causal induction based on covariation. (2)The effect of alternative cause varied
according to the degree of co-existing between it and the candidate cause. (3)The effect of
alternative differed in different covariation.
4148.2 What 60 models of creativity tell us about the degree to which creativity is mental,

700 books and 150 creator interviews--in Japan, Europe, and the US--were used to make a model
of models of creativity (using structural reading of "macrostructures" (Kintsch) and fractal concept
model building (Greene)). A model of 60 models of creativity resulted, forming ten dimensions
each having six models each. The ten dimensions differ, among other ways, in degree of interiority
or "psychologicalness" of creativity. Exact expression of the degrees of such difference for each
dimension suggest interesting avenues for future research and powerful possible applications of
dimension overall contents. Implications for theoretical, industrial, applied psychology are
discussed.
4148.3 A study on the creative processess in the female and male college students, Akram

The present study has been conducted on 3770 male & female students in 9 universities of Iran.
The aim of the study was the comparison of creative processes in female and male students.
Research instruments included creativity test (CT) and analogy sub scale of Weschler Adult
Intelligence Scale (WAIS). The results showed that there are some specific predictive factors as
