2098.78 The research of moral behavior and the sense of moral behavior efficacy of middly
school students, Xiaodong Ma, China
This paper put forward a new concept, the sense of moral behavior, which is based upon
Bandura’s self-efficacy theory and Kohlberg’s model of moral judgments transforming into moral
action. The thesis takes the middle school students as subjects and uses Sense of Moral Behavior
Questionair and Moral Behavior Questionair as measuring instrument in order to explore the
development characteristics of the sense of moral behavior and the relationship between the sense
of moral behavior and moral behavior.
2098.79 The development of solidarity with other members and self-independentness among
Japanese college students of education, Mayumi Tanaka, Showa Women's University, Japan
This research examines how Japanese college students of Education develop their personality
component, Solidarity with Other Members (SO), and Self-Independentness (SI), during their
college life. The subjects were 99 female education majors. They were asked to answer a
questionnaire both at the beginning and at the end of their college life. The survey found that the
average score of SO was higher than that of SI. It also found that the less-motivated students for
going into the teaching proffesion had characteristics of low SO and that they had not developed
SO as much as the motivated students during their college life.
2098.80 The reseach on the education about the personality of the children from the single parent
family, Liping Yun, Hongbin He, Chang'an University, China
Single parent family is a family that the other parent has died or divorced and given up the custody
and foster rights. There is much negative influence on the children who are in those kinds of
families. Therefore, how to cultivate perfect personality of those children is an important thing for
the children, for the family, especially for the society. The writer analyzed the formation of the
negative influence on those children, and point out the advantages and disadvantages of the filial
education in those special families. Then the writer offers a set of manipulative strategies for the
single parent.
2098.81 The relationship between family functioning and general health among junior high
school students, Parvin Kadivar, Valiollah Farzad, Teacher Training University, Iran
Using multiple sampling method, 406 third grade male and female students (204 girls and 202
boys) were selected. The family functioning scale (Bloom, 1985) and Goldberg’s General health
Questionaire (GHQ), were used to measure the variables. Data were analyzed using multiple
regression coefficient and Pearson corrolation methods. Analysis of the data shows that in general
there is a positive statistical significant relationship between family functioning and general health.
Among the family functioning variables, there was a positive significant relationship between,
family cohesion and general health. There was also a positive significant relationship between
family expressivesness and general health.
