Cell Biol., 80, 567-579) auftritt, ist die Form des Vorkommens
in verschiedenen Geweben, u.a. auch in Nieren biochemisch
bestimmt worden, wobei auch Hinweise auf besondere
Drebrin-haltige Partikel („Drebrosomen“) gefunden
wurden. Drebrin wurde vor allem auch in den Nierenglomeruli
stark angereichert, vor allem in Mesangialzellen
sowie in „foot processes“ von Podocyten [45].
Durch Mikrosequenzierung von Proteinen und Peptiden
wurden in Kooperation mit verschiedenen Arbeitsgruppen
weitere neue Proteine entdeckt und mittels spezifisch
hergestellter Antikörper charakterisiert sowie lokalisiert [8,
11, 27, 35, 45, 52, 55, 59, 62, 69].
